Black vs Maroon Game Highlights

6/19/2024

Blake Huston (2028 OF, North Haven, CT)showed some power stuff on the hill, striking out three over as many innings. His fastball topped at an impressive 83, blowing the pitch past hitters with ease. The breaker is a mid-60s SL with tons of late bite and two-plane depth. At the plate, Huston sat back on a good breaking ball and lined a double to right, showing speed rounding the bases and a smooth left-handed swing at the dish.

Reo Uetani (2028 OF, Mahwah, NJ)was rarely outside the strike zone in this outing, pounding both sides of the plate with an advanced two-pitch mix. The fastball got up to 80, living in the high 70s, along with an 11-5 curveball that produced whiffs and kept hitters off balance in the mid-60s.

Domenic Toto (2028 C, South Yarmouth, MA)did good work in relief, producing weak contact and striking out two over two. The fastball worked in the low-70s (T74) and primarily worked with the offering, complimented by a mid-60s curveball that produced swings. At the dish, Toto lined a single to left and a double to left center, catching barrels and staying short and compact to the ball.

Andrew Kiricoples (2028 RHP, Rowley, MA) lined a ball down the left field line, legging out a triple. Battled an impressive 23-pitch at-bat before catching a barrel and slicing one to the pull side. Makes a ton of contact, shows knowledge in the zone, and flashed the ability to shorten up and do damage.

Miles O’Neil (2028, OF, Swampscott, MA) showcased an impressive pitch mix, producing soft contact and whiffs consistently. The fastball sat around the mid-70s (T80). The main secondary is a 12-6 downer curveball that kept hitters off balance, throwing it in the low 60s.
