The scorching hot summer of Hunter Chambers (2024, Dover, Del.) continued throughout the 15u Mid-Atlantic Elite Championship. Continuing to showcase his two-way talents on the mound and at the plate, Chambers' play continues to stand out during PG events. His sky-high bat-to-ball skills and ability to hit to all fields for power remain a constant for a very talented MA Show PA team. Taking no time to get going, Chambers ripped a hard liner into the right-center gap for his first at-bat of the tournament. Aggressive at the point of contact, Chambers continues to show advance feel for the barrel, using his natural strength to generate bat speed. Bringing in Show PA’s first run on Sunday with a hustle double into center, Chambers stays through the middle of the field with his approach extremely well, staying on a fastball well through extension. Continuing throughout the playoffs, Chambers remained a run-producer at the dish, adding three more RBI to his stat line, including an RBI single in the championship game to tie it 4-all.
