14U PG Coastal Summer World Series & 17U WWBA Coastal Select Championship Scout Notes

Daniel Butts (2027,West Columbia,SC) was the closer for the Carolina Yarddawgs in their matchup versus NCBA Grey. The 6-foot-2 220-pound closer came in throwing heat with the Fastball sitting 80-83 top 84 and had a wipeout slider around 74 mph. Daniel came into the game with runners on in the top of the 7th and only allowed 1 run to cross the plate,He had 2 strikeouts in 1 innings pitched. Daniel also did well in the box going 1-2 with a double and 2 RBIS. Daniel had a very good game at the plate and on the bump and is projected to be a top prospect in the future.
