16u WWBA Scout Notes: Day 1

Tyler Ellis (2026, Kingsland, Ga.) and Wilson Andersen (2026, Tampa, Fla.) both threw during MBA’s victory over at Joe Cowan Park on Sunday morning, showing intriguing stuff during the process. Ellis, an uncommitted southpaw, got the start and was very good over two frames, striking out five over those two scoreless. The left-hander sat in the 87-89 mph range to start the game and did a nice job at locating the fastball to the glove side, showing no fear in running the pitch in on the hands of right-handed hitters.
