17u WWBA West Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Jet Berry, Inf, Queen Creek HS (2026)

Berry is quickly becoming a “personal cheeseball’ guy for me, and a rare out of state guy for me.  He just always seems to do something for me, and he caught my attention on One Nationals first defensive play (and pitch) ranging deep behind the second base bag, and did the field, spin, throw thing seemingly all in one shot to get the runner.  He followed that up with a multi-hit game, with the big knock coming on a pull side triple that scored two runners.  Just a fun player to watch.  Currently Uncommitted. 



Kieran Babai, C, San Marcos HS (2025)

Loud day for Babai at the plate for Trosky American.  He drove in 5 runs on the day, finding multiple barrels.
