Matthew Kolodziej (2026 SS, Oakville, ON) has lots of room to fill on his wiry frame and has the components of bat speed, swing plane, and lower half control that project to big hitting tools long term.

Ben Ondevilla (2026 OF, Oakville, ON) has really projectable pop, with a loose stroke that creates bat speed and an early understanding of creating loft.

Micah Thomas (2026 SS, Brampton, ON) rotates really well and does a good job of getting his lower half involved with bat speed as well, projecting really well as a hitter long term.

Dylan Nerlich (2026 C, Toronto, ON) repeats his swing extremely well and does an excellent job of rotating and getting the barrel out front, showing some traits of high level projection.

Elias Rubio-Reyes (2026 SS, Etobicoke, ON) stays committed to the middle of the field and has a linear stroke that gets out front, peppering the middle of the field with well-struck liners.

Josh Skuce (2026 MIF, , ON) takes a long stride and does a good job of timing it up, getting the barrel in a good spot and making a lot of firm contact to all fields.

Steven Trkulja (2025 1B, Toronto, ON) has good strength and rotational acceleration, creating stretch in his load and getting in good spots to hit with heavy barrel.

Sam Kim (2025 C, Guelph, ON) has lots of room to fill remaining on his frame to go along with good present pop into the gaps, really projecting well for big power long term.

2-Ontario Royals 16U vs. 7-Ontario Nationals 16U Game Highlights

9/16/2022

George Aitas (2025, Ancaster, ON) produced a barrel early on with a line drive to left field for a base hit. A short path allows for advanced barrel accuracy.

Luke Petrie (2025, Burlington, ON) showed the ability to generate quick outs throughout his start. The righthander used a three-pitch mix to keep hitters off balance and induce weak contact.

Cameron Tomcko (2026, Mississauga, ON) displayed a quality two-strikes approach, shooting a ball into the opposite field gap for a base hit.

Carter Pokora (2026, Kitchener, ON) displayed a sound approach with a line drive single the other way. Has the ability to use the entire field well.

Bryson Steckle (2025, Zurich, ON) found a barrel on a hard hit ball back up the middle. A simple, linear path produces hard hit line drives often.

Ayden Ziegler (2025, Baden, ON) got the scoring started with an RBI single into left field. A short path to contact allows the bat head to get out front.

James Craig (2025, ON) produced a loud barrel on a double to deep right field. A strong frame gets used well at the plate to generate quality pullside power.

Jack Thompson (2026, Toronto, ON) showcased an intriguing two-pitch mix in relief. The righthander attacks hitter with a fastball at 72-74 mph before turning to a sharp, low-60’s curveball.

Tyson Moran (2024, Wingham, ON) found a loud barrel late with a long drive to deep right-center field for a double. There is a solid amount of power present with more coming down the line.

16U Batting Practice Highlights

9/15/2022

John Genco (2024 SS, , ON) is a switch-hitter who showed feel for the barrel from both sides, with more whip from the left side and a bit more of a direct path from the right. His body projects and he should have some power from both sides as he fills out.

Antony Kulasekaran (2024 OF, Markham, ON) took a very consistent round, generating good leverage off of his front side and getting the ball into the air with some jump, projecting well for power with continued strength gains.

Preston Vieira (2024 C, Oshawa, ON) does a very good job of engaging his lower half in his swing, and using leverage to allow that lower half strength to play. He showed consistent barrel skills with some pop into both gaps.

Philip Sephton (2024 C, North York, ON) uses the ground well in his swing and stays connected through launch with bat speed and a clean path. He stays committed to the middle of the field and consistently finds hard barrels.

Benjamin Wdowczyk (2025 C, Oakville, ON) shifts well and engages his back hip, driving through contact with his barrel on a linear plane, staying committed to the middle of the field with good results.

Zach McCabe (2025 3B, Oakville, ON) has one of the better swings of the event, with loose wrists and a quick, direct path, showing consistent ability to find barrel with lots of strength yet to come on his frame.

Carter Yellowlees (2025 RHP, Oakville, ON) does a great job of getting his barrel on plane early as he launches, and accelerates through the zone with good bat speed and plenty of barrel.

Ben Adamson (2025 SS, London, ON) creates stretch and launches on time, with a quick bat through the zone and good barrel accuracy, and he's got the projectable frame that portends more power as well.

Myles Adamson (2025 C, London, ON) took a very solid round, with consistent path and timer that allows him to make adjustments depending on pitch location. He swings it well and projects.

Noah Cantwell (2025 3B, Cambridge, ON) has advanced physicality and shows off that strength in his swing, separating well and creating leverage, allowing him to really launch the ball pull-side with big carry and the upside of a serious power bat.

Tate Carey (2024 RHP, Windsor, ON) is a really talented RHP who can also do two-way things, with a swing that holds plenty of righthanded pop right now and room for continued strength gains on his frame.

Cooper Clark (2024 3B, Thorndale, ON) turns the barrel efficiently and with good bat speed, getting the head out on time and consistently making hard contact, with a whole-field approach that he executes well.

Aidan George (2025 OF, Woodstock, ON) is an athletic player with an athletic swing, generating leverage with good strength and bat speed to go with it, consistently making hard contact to the pull-side.

Luke Conley (2025 OF, Whitby, ON) has a long and very projectable frame with present bat speed and an understanding of leverage, consistently getting on plane and out front and really projecting for power as he fills out.

Tyson Groves (2025 C, Barrie, ON) does a very good job of matching plane and shows looseness to his hands and overall swing, with a frame that projects for enhanced impact as he continues maturing.

Keegan Russell (2025 1B, Whitby, ON) has tremendous size and physicality, showing off that strength in BP to the pull-side in particular, with huge jump off the barrel when he's on time.

Jackson Long (2024 OF, Guelph, ON) showed some of the better present pop of the event in his round, creating good stretch and really getting the barrel out with bat speed and jump into the gaps.

Robert Omidi (2026 MIF, , ON) has a projectable build and good bat speed, getting his lower half involved and doing a very good job of using the whole field.

James Craig (2025 1B, , ON) has good strength and is able to show it off in his swing, getting the barrel on plane and firing his hips well into contact, generating hard barrels that will have big carry as he elevates more.

Cole Leuszler (2024 1B, Woodstock, ON)'s approach is to the pull-side and he goes that way with authority, getting the barrel out front and using his strength to really drive the ball in that direction.

Ty Shapton (2025 MIF, Ingersoll, ON) took one of the more consistent rounds of the day, with loose hands and easy bat speed on a good plane, with the ability to work the whole field on the barrel.

Ayden Ziegler (2025 SS, Baden, ON) has a whippy bat on a linear plane with solid bat speed, and as he found his timing the results got very good, with liners to all fields and good efficient moves in his lower half.

Ben Bradley (2025 OF, Oakville, ON) swings the bat with intent and does a good job creating leverage and allowing his bat speed to play in a bigger way, showing big impact to the pull-side with more coming.

Bryce Cross (2024 OF, Georgetown, ON) has a whippy lefthanded stroke with easy bat speed and the type of physical projection that is easy to project power on. He's one to watch moving forward as he continues coming into more strength.

Adyn Schell (2025 3B, Toronto, ON) brings his hips with authority and brings the barrel with him, generating good loft to the stroke and showing some traits of a potentially high-level hitter.
