1- Black
Talen Pilz (2025, Ann Arbor, Mich.) took a solid round of BP, transferring the weight well into contact to work pull-side. He was able to get the barrel to it out front and impact the ball well.
Luke Manders (2025, Onsted, Mich.) had quicker hands with some loud swings during his round of BP. He was able to produce hard contact in the air during his round, showing some strength with quick hands in the operation. Took a good round of BP swings.
Tanner Ludwig (2026, New Baltimore, Mich.) used his long levers well as part of his swing. He was able to get extended and work on the barrel to drive the ball back up the middle through the cage. Some thump off the barrel, driving the ball well during his round of BP swings.
Julian Contreras (2025, Dearborn, Mich.) swung the bat well from both sides. He had a solid and fluid swing with some quickness to the operation. He drove the ball well from both sides and was on-plane throughout the round. Worked back up the middle as a right-hander with solid contact, working more pull-side as a left-hander.
Adam Pawczuk (2027, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) handled the bat well, swinging it from the left side. Most of his impacts were working back up the middle, hammering several balls to the pull-side part of the cage. Showed good strength at impact to do some damage during his round of BP swings.
2- Columbia Blue
Tyler Bruggerman (2025, Adrian, Mich.) took a solid round of BP from the left side. He got extended well and was able to drive the ball out front. He had a shorter path to it with some jump off the barrel, producing loud swings back up the middle and backside as well. Good operation in the box that produced good results.
Rafael Valdovinos (2026, Southgate, Mich.) swings hard and works through contact really well, staying through the ball to drive it well. His best impacts came working pull-side and back up the middle in the air. He found the barrel often and was able to use his strength to produce some solid swings. Put together a great round of BP swings.
Anthony Jendrusik (2026, Livonia, Mich.) showed off quicker hands with good bat speed to drive the ball well working pull-side. He was able to get to the ball out in front often and work on the barrel. He showed off a shorter path with good extension. Solid round of BP swings from the right-handed bat.
Caleb Jones (2025, Riverview, Mich.) uses a wider stance with an inward move, showing a great feel for the barrel to get on plane and impact the ball up the middle. He made adjustments well during the round and was able to produce loud contact back through the middle of the cage.
3- Orange
Kanaan Taylor (2026, Brownstown, Mich.) handled the bat well from the left side, turning hard through contact with the ability to work back up the middle, producing some jump off the bat. Most middle-of-the-field and pull-side, but had the strength to impact well.
Jaden Saavedra (2026, South Lyon, Mich.) was exceptional during BP. Showed off the ability to uncoil hard into contact with loud impacts and strength off the barrel. He worked on the barrel often and attacked the middle of the field. Good bat speed and quick hands to work through contact and produce good results.
Nick Garnick (2026, New Hudson, Mich.) swung it well from the right side. He had some jump off the barrel with the ability to impact it well and produce good contact back up the middle. He was longer through the zone, rotating hard through the swing to do damage during his round of BP swings.
Thomas Niles (2026, Goodrich, Mich.) uses a spread stance and quick hands working through contact. Strength off the barrel that showed as he did damage in the air and worked back up the middle. Simple stride forward through contact.
