Tristan Johnson (2029 C, Fredericksburg, VA) works gap to gap with a short and direct swing and barreled up almost every ball he saw during his round. He has the rare ability for a young hitter to stay behind balls and drive them to the opposite field with some authority and jump.
Nj Uhlenberg (2028 OF, Chapel Hill, NC) has a busy hand and barrel load but he can get away with it because of his hand speed and barrel accuracy. He has obvious right handed power and a hitting style he seems very comfortable with.
Dylan Wagnon (2028 LHP, Raleigh, NC) has the strength to hit with his 6-0/165 build and was well timed and consistent with all his swings. The right handed hitter has some lift in his swing and consistently got the ball in the air with some carry.
Blake Wheatley (2028 SS, Saint Michaels, MD) has very fast hands for his age and slender build and it it will be fun to see how his already impressive bat speed increases as he adds strength and physical maturity. He hit almost every pitch on the barrel up the middle.
Charlie Rothbard (2028 C, Rockville, MD) has very good strength for an eighth grader and he used it very well to consistently impact the ball hard. He's strong enough to stand out even using a wood bat while most of his age mates used metal.
