Louis (LJ) Renshaw (2025 C, Oakland, NJ) barreled up a fastball early on in the first inning and drove it into the right-center gap for a double. The 5-foot-8 right-handed batter remains loose and under control in the box before delivering a strong barrel at impact. He showcased impressive strength from gap to gap with the ability to create easy backspin at impact.
Mateo Schachner (2026 C, Brooklyn, NY) put his range and athleticism on display in the outfield, tracking down a long fly ball at the warning track in left field. The 5-foot-8 outfielder gets a good first step on the baseball, taking a quick and efficient route to it.

The 6-foot-2 right-hander filled up all four quadrants of the strike zone with his fastball, which sat in the 84-85 mph range and ultimately peaked at 88. He also kept hitters off-balance with his mid-70s slurvy breaking ball, which was sequenced in effectively.
