Cale Wigington (2026 C, Atoka, OK) notched the first hit of game one with his first inning barrel to left field for a single on a center cut fastball. His early game success followed up a strong round of batting practice as he continued to showcase the bat to ball skills.
Cole Taylor (2026 1B, Austin, TX) Picked up a base hit to left field on a fastball in his first at bat. He is able to uses his length well getting extended out front while the bat path shows the ability to match the pitch plane leaving him in the hitting zone for a longer time.
Kolby Brown (2026 RHP, Warr Acres, OK) put together a strong showing in game action getting it done on both sides of the ball. On the mound he worked an efficient three innings with the fastball topping out at 83 mph while mixing in a quality horizontal slider for swings and misses. At the plate he also added a loud barrel to the pull side.
Ryder Chamblee (2026 OF, Robinson, TX) looked good in his two innings of work on the mound working primarily off his mid 80’s fastball that topped out at 88 mph. The fastball showed some short arm side run at times with riding life. Off of the fastball he showed a mid 70’s slider with shorter darting actions as his primary off speed pitch.

Nicholas Grissom (2026 SS, Frisco, TX)- Solid two innings of work out of the 'pen in game two of action, ran it up to 86-mph with feel for the strike zone and could land his breaker as well in any count. Athletic kid, good feel up there and should project out to throw harder and continue to improve across the board.
Yaniel Hernandez (2025 C, Little Elm, TX)- Well struck double that burned the left-fielder and bounced up against the wall out there. Stronger prospect, primary backstop with some raw power in there and could continue to improve.
Jordan Yearby (2024 OF, Plano, TX)- Pair of hits including a triple where he wheeled around to third in 11.84 seconds. Just a quicker twitch prospect with a legit run tool and quick first step, showed he can handle himself in the box as well with solid defensive actions in the outfield to pair.
Colby Sommer (2025 SS, Southlake, TX)- Showed off good actions up the middle all game long & collected a solid barrel to the pull-side. Good player overall and has present baseball skills that can translate to the next level of the game, real chance to stick at short with this present array of defensive traits.
Ryan Benavides (2026 SS, Friendswood, TX)- Premier defensive skills and actions on display all day long, with multiple plays being made to both sides and showed feel to drop the slot and throw on the move. Collected a well struck single in game action too, always hits and is a legit defender at shortstop right now with a good internal clock and pulse.
Luke Kemp (2025 OF, Wall, TX)- Pair of hits in the final game of the day, working the pull-side pretty heavily with good results. Solid athlete and tested well across the board, good traits here with baseball IQ and always hustles.
Parker Davis (2026 LHP, Fair Oaks Ranch, TX)- Big southpaw rolled through three innings of work with six strikeouts to his credit. Ran it up to 83-mph and filled the zone, had feel for the off-speed and could sequence his pitches well throughout.
