Austin Rodriguez (2028 RHP, Henderson, NV) showcased his top end arm talent with the low 80’s fastball that he was able to locate to the glove side while also changing the tempo of his delivery. The slider was the primary off speed with two plane shape in the upper 60’s while maintaining consistent arm speed to the fastball. He also put it together on the offensive side with a long home run to center field in game two.
Holden Goodrich (2028 C, Golden, CO) put a good swing on a fastball on the inner half in his first at bat driving a ball down the line in left field for a double. He did a nice job of attacking the baseball with his hands inside the barrel allowing him to keep the ball fair to the pull side. He followed up his first double with another loud barrel in his second at bat once again driving the baseball to the pull side for extra bases.
Steven Solano (2029 RHP, Rapid City, SD) jumped a fastball in his second at bat and drove it into the left center field gap for an easy stand up double. He did a nice job getting on top of a fastball up in the zone while getting his long levers extended to hit the ball on a hard line all the way to the wall.
Owen Wilde (2028 RHP, St. Elizabeth, MO) followed up a strong showing in workouts with an even stronger showing in game action, starting things off with a ground rule double to left field. He then hopped on the mound where he once again showcased his arm strength running his fastball up to 82 mph. His overall skill set projects well with plenty of projectability left in the frame.
Nolan Hawkins (2029 3B, Highlands Ranch, CO) showcased his ability to handle high level velocity in his first at bat of game two as he got things started with a single back through the middle on a 82 mph fastball. He did a nice job being on time with his timing and load allowing him to get the bat head out front early.
Michael Bergin (2029 SS, Las Vegas, NV) got all of a curveball up in the zone in his first at bat drawing it out to left center field for a solo home run. He was able to keep his hands back while stilling getting into his lower half as the barrel got out front and on plane creating carry to the pull side gap.
Colton Duman (2028 OF, Castle Pines, CO) continued right where he left off in batting practice with his first at bat in game action. He jumped all over a fastball hammering it well over the fence in right center field for a no doubt solo home run. His combination of strength and bat speed not only play right now but project well moving forward as well.
Dayton Kellner (2028 3B, Chandler, AZ) did a nice job working a long at bat, fouling off some pitches in his first time up in game two before hammering a ball to the pull side for extra bases. The left handed swing shows some polish to it with strength that plays out front off the barrel. He also added another barrel in game two with a double to the pull side.
Ethan Cartagena (2028 OF, Highlands Ranch, CO) found himself an extra base hit his first time to the plate in game two. He was able to stay back on a hanging breaking ball and drive it over the center fielder's head for a ground rule double.
Asher Williams (2029 SS, Saint George, UT) was able to make a nice in-swing adjustment with the upper half to keep his hands back and drive the ball over the wall in center field. He shows good strength to this frame that shows up at the point of contact leading to a lot of loud barrels from his right handed swing.
Connor Thrush (2028 SS, Aurora, CO) was one of the more impressive arms on the mound in day one game action. The young right hander ran his fastball up to 84 mph while showcasing an ability to fill up the zone with multiple pitches. He worked in a low 70's slider that showed later bite. His athleticism works well on the mound as he is able to use the whole chain in sync to repeat the delivery and fill up the strike zone.
