Ben Schultz (2028 3B, Milton, WI) showed nice strength at the plate today, showcasing the ability to drive the ball into the gaps. He has a flatter path through the zone and is able to consistently make line drive contact.
Quinn Wheeler (2028 C, Johnston, IA) has a projectable frame and does a nice job of firing his hips through the swing, allowing him to maximize the strength in his lower half. He does a nice job of using the whole field and showed good bat speed through the zone.
Joel Uriostegui JR (2029 SS, Hanover Park, IL) uses a simple stride at the plate to be consistently on time with the barrel. He has a low effort swing that allows him to repeat his mechanics, resulting in hard contact to all parts of the field.
THOMAS CHECK (2028 C, La Crosse, WI) is a strong athlete that looks to hammer balls left over the middle of the plate to the pull side of the field. He uses his strong frame effectively, driving through the baseball with his lower and extending with his upper half well.
Cecil Kelley (2028 3B, Wellman, IA) features quick hands through the zone, allowing him to create nice bat speed with his swing. He pairs this with a willingness to let the ball travel before driving it into the opposite field gap.
