Christian Lopez (2028, Mission Viejo, CA) laced a ball back up the middle for a base hit and followed it with a base it the other way. The young left-handed hitter stays connected well with strength at contact.
Makai Trueblood (2028, Long Beach, CA) needed just 15 pitches to work through two scoreless innings. The big righthander ran the fastball up to 72 mph and showed advanced feel for a low-60’s slider.
Joshua Lee (2028, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA) hammered a ball off the wall for a double early on and followed it with a single to the pullside. A physical frame plays well in the box. Lee looks to elevate and do damage pullside.
Dylan Hendon (2029, San Juan Capistrano, CA) displayed strong catch-and-throw ability from behind the plate. A strong arm and clean transfer resulted in accurate throws on the bag often. He also barreled a ball to deep center field for a double late in the game.
Joseph Koenig (2029, Ladera Ranch, CA) hammered a ball into the backside gap for an RBI double. Koenig continues to show strong barrel feel with strength at contact.
Maximiliano Luna (2028, Lawndale, CA) barreled a ball well to deep left-center field for a double late in the game. A strong frame generates hard hit contact pullside often with more power to come down the line.
Gavin Carcelen (2029, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) impressed during a short look on the mound. The righthander ran the fastball up to 74 mph and showed feel for a sharp slider 61-62 mph.
