Che Aamodt (2028 2B, Waxhaw, NC) has a well timed and simple hitting approach that maximized square line drive contact. He moved the ball around the field and was right on just about every pitch.
Brody Michel (2028 OF, Fuquay Varina, NC) has some growing to do from his 5-7/125 frame but he has a good swing and swings with intent and some bat speed. He repeated his swing well and looks like the type of young player who spends a lot of time on developing his game.
Gage Borrosco (2028 OF, Asheville, NC) looks the part at 6-2/165 and has a simple and tall approach at the plate that was very consistent. He has present bat speed and drove the gaps with some carry.
Landon Maser (2027 1B, King, NC) has very good strength in his 5-11/175 frame and can get the ball to jump hard off the barrel. There's more there as he learns to consistently hit through the ball instead of to the ball.
Owen Healy (2028 C, Denver, NC) does a better job than most hitters this age of getting into his hips and staying connected in his swing. It's a nice swing to build on as he continues to get stronger.
Chance Ocain (2027 SS, Chapin, SC) took a very consistent inside path to the ball and owned the right center field gap for most of his round. The right handed hitter turned on one ball hard and crushed it and we'd like to see more of that in the future.
Brayden Grogan (2027 C, Tega Cay, SC) is a left-handed hitter who hits from a spread stance and turns very hard and tight on the ball. He gets out front for hard pull contact and has some lift in his swing.
Brian Ebeling (2028 SS, Huger, SC) is a right handed hitter and showed some of the best raw bat speed of the event. He swings hard and the ball comes off hard, especially to the pull side.
Daniel Ebeling (2028 C, Huger, SC) had a different approach than his brother, with a wider base and more of an all fields approach but he had very good bat speed as well.
Parker Guevara (2028 OF, Rock Hill, SC) has some compact strength in his 5-9/150 frame and uses it well to create bat speed and some carry. He's another hitter who gets into his lower half well to drive his swing.
Carter Sheridan (2028 SS, Oak Ridge, NC) may have been the smallest player at the event at 5-4/115 but he had one of the best swings and showed a very accurate barrel. Our bet is that he probably spends more time than most working on his game and his hitting.
