Batting Practice Highlights

10/5/2024

Nick Dromboski (2025 OF, Columbus, NJ) repeatedly impacted the baseball with authority throughout his round, as the left-handed hitting OF blistered several line drives from gap-to-gap. He stays connected extremely well, has plenty of present bat speed and barrel awareness.

Mason Tomlinson (2026 1B, South Yarmouth, MA) used his levers well to create plenty of whip to his barrel, while sending several well-struck lines drives through the middle-of-the field during his round. He stays in the hitting zone for a long time, stays connected and has some strength in his hands.

Keith Haecker (2025 RHP, Pleasantville, NY) took perhaps the most consistent round of the day, as the left-handed hitting 2025 stays short and direct with his hands into launch, while exhibiting plenty of present bat speed and some feel for the barrel.

Ari Vogel (2026 C, Bronx, NY) impressed with his propensity to find the barrel throughout his round, as the 2026 backstop scorched several line drives from gap-to-gap. He uses his quick hands to deliver the barrel on-time with present bat speed and has good feel for the barrel.

Matt Faraone (2025 OF, East Yaphank, NY) took the loudest round of the day sending numerous well-struck line drives through the gaps. He turns quickly, uses his lower half well to create leverage and has plenty of present bat speed.
