2023 Top Prospects

Andrew Brown  RHP - 2023 - Newtown, PA
Manhattan

Brown impressed across his three innings of work, as the uncommitted 2023 right-hander ran his fastball up to 87 mph with tons of downhill plane through the zone. He mixed in a swing-and-miss curveball that showed abrupt downer action and nice bite to generate tons of swings-and-misses.

Hugo Kohnhorst  3B - 2023 - Queens, NY
Mineral Area College

Kohnhorst was atop the leaderboard as he was clocked up to 87 mph across the diamond, showcasing some serious arm strength. The physically built corner infielder displayed pull side impact with a heavy barrel at contact, using his 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame to create some lift through extension, flashing some intriguing power projection.

Michael Vilardi  OF - 2023 - Massapequa, NY
Queens College (New York)

Vilardi really impressed on the mound during his brief two innings of work, running his heater up to 86 mph. Sitting in the 82-85 mph range, his fastball showed some life through the zone as it got on hitters quickly. Mixing in his breaking ball well, Vilardi changed speed and showcased and arsenal that generated tons of swing-and-misses, recording three punchies during his outing. There is still strength remaining to be added throughout his 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame which will tick the velo up.


2024 Top Prospects

Alvin Gomez  3B - 2024 - New York, NY
American International

Gomez was electric across his two innings of work, as the athletic right-hander ran his fastball up to 85 mph throughout. He generates loose, easy gas from a three-quarters arm slot and the fastball has darting life to bottom of the zone. He mixed in a promising slurve shaped breaking ball with healthy shape and bat missing qualities. There is more velocity in the tank, as the long levered uncommitted 2024 Grad continues to add strength. He flashed some two-way abilities with multiple hits including a loud double in game action.

Alex Digiacinto  3B - 2024 - Richmond Hill, ON CAN
Missouri University of Science and Technology

Digiacinto really stood out at the dish during gameplay, finding several loud barrels that got everyone's attention. Showcasing a mature approach, Digiacinto continually worked counts, fouling off tough pitches before putting something in play. Recorded a 7.19-sixty and up to 83 mph across the diamond during workouts, he moved well displaying clean and proper actions that translate well at the hot corner.

Sam Maclaughlin  LHP - 2024 - Toronto, ON CAN
Missouri State

Maclaughlin showcased some intriguing two-way ability all weekend. Sitting comfortably in the low-80s on the bump during his three innings of work, Maclaughlin topped out at 84 mph as there is so much more left in the tank as he continues to fill out his 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. His breaking ball displayed 1-7 shape, throwing a handful that had some really late sharp bit to them, landing it in the zone consistently during his outing. That same arm strength was present during outfield workouts, working up to 81 mph with easy carry on his throws to the bases. Working through the ball well with clean actions.


2025 Top Prospects

Cooper Maher  SS - 2025 - Westerly, RI
Northeastern

Maher impressed in multiple facets of the weekend, with the arm strength noticeably standing out. Showcasing clean actions with good lateral range to his left and right during defensive workouts, Maher was up to 87 mph across the diamond. Later taking the bump, Maher sat 82-85 with heater as it really jumped out of his hand with excellent arm speed. Coming from a high 3/4 slot, Maher was able to create some deceptive downhill action that created a tough look for opposing hitters as he generated some whiffs.

Jordan Ali Khan  OF - 2025 - Toronto, ON CAN

Ali Khan raked throughout the event and just impressed at the dish as he continued to find barrel after barrel during live games. Utilizing a smooth left-handed stroke, Ali Khan kept his approach simple and used the entire field, flashing some juice to the pull side, turning on a few balls. Clocking a 7.02-sixty and showcasing himself well in the outfield, Ali Khan possesses several intriguing tools that will be exciting to follow.

Anthony Manzi  RHP - 2025 - Bellerose, NY

Manzi is an immensely projectable right-hander that checks a ton of boxes in terms of long term upside. He ran his sinking fastball up to 81 mph throughout his outing, missing the barrel frequently and generating tons of weak contact. He flashed a short, late biting slider for strikes and a firm changeup as his secondary options with both showing vast potential as he continues to refine his repertoire. The 6-foot-3, 162-pound flashed some two-way abilities by recording arm strength up to 82 mph from the outfield and showing he could handle that bat during game action as well.

Wyatt Miller  SS - 2025 - Cohasset, MA
Babson

Miller intriguing tools and upside on both sides of the baseball, as the 2025 middle-infielder recorded arm strength up to 84 across the diamond and ran a 7.14 sixty. At the plate, he showed a propensity to find the barrel by collecting hits in each of games and four total for the event. He uses the whole field exceptionally well and stays simple with his movements into contact.
