2027 Top Prospects

Cy Craft  SS - 2027 - Du Quoin, IL

Craft stood out all weekend, showing fluid movements throughout his actions, good defensive tools in multiple spots, a quick stroke with present bat speed and lots of power upside, and legitimate tools on the mound. He stood out in a big way.

Kam Smith  RHP - 2027 - Girard, KS

Smith has a long and lean frame along with an excellent delivery on the mound, with good direction and timing. He worked up to 80 mph solid life, throwing fastballs to the edges and flashing a downer curveball.

Evan Magnuson  RHP - 2027 - Platte City, MO

Magnuson has a very long and lanky build with huge room to fill, showing big arm speed for his age as well and running his fastball up to 80 mph with big arm side life at times, flashing a solid breaker with some tilt as well. The upside is obvious here.

Mason Robertson  LHP - 2027 - Oak Creek, WI

Robertson performed in a huge way all weekend, raking throughout the weekend in games with power up the gaps and good speed on the bases. He also dominated on the mound, showing a true three pitch mix from the left side and reaching 78 mph with the fastball.

Nicholas Long  OF - 2027 - Springfield, MO

Long took a great batting practice round, showing power into the pull-side gap and consistency in his approach by taking those good swings into the games, consistently on the barrel and using the whole field.

Malachi Foster  SS - 2027 - Hendersonville, TN

Foster has good athleticism and versatility, showing solid actions in the infield as well as good ability on the mound, working up to 78 mph on his fastball with a sharp breaker as well, not to mention good bat speed with power potential at the plate.

Austin Fries  C - 2027 - Portage, WI

Fries flashed good stuff on the mound, working up to 78 mph with good command early in the outing, landing a solid breaker for strikes. He also tripled in game, smoking a liner pull-side.

Antonio Johnson Jr  SS - 2027 - Gladstone, MO

Johnson has an athletic build and good speed, clocking 7.11 seconds in the 60, and showed off that speed in game, hammering a liner up the left-center gap and burning around the bases for an inside-the-park home run.

Ethan McCubbin  LHP - 2027 - Duluth, MN

McCubbin is a well-rounded player who showed well in multiple facets, taking consistently solid at bats with a willingness to use the whole field, and showing solid defensive traits in the outfield and throwing a bunch of strikes when on the mound.


2028 Top Prospects

Mick Smead  C - 2028 - Jones, MI

Smead has a long, projectable frame with the makings of quality bat speed and long term strength. The power upside stands out, and he shows the ability to get the barrel out and do damage.

Cash Ryan  3B - 2028 - Waverly, IA

Ryan has very advanced strength for his grade, and that strength shows up in the batter's box with good jump off the bat pull-side and up the middle, showing solid arm strength defensively and on the mound as well.
