Owen Miller
C - 2024 - Charlotte, NC
Denison
Owen Miller ('24, NC) is a compact 5-9/180 with dense muscular strength and some explosive tools to go with it. The primary position catcher has quick actions getting out of the crouch quickly and using a clean midline transfer to load the arm. He showed excellent arm strength with throws up to 82 mph and a pop-time best 1.90 with accuracy on the bag. He also took reps in the outfield where he ripped throws up to 90 mph back to the infield. Offensively he uses an upright stance to create leverage, impacting the ball with authority in the middle of the field, letting his natural strength produce power. Miller is a toolsy prospect to follow this spring.
Alex Pearce
OF - 2025 - Gainesville, VA
Randolph-Macon College
Alex Pearce ('25, VA) showed nice two-way skills as he went through his reps in the outfield and threw live on the mound. He moved to the ball well in the field and impressed with throws up to 89 mph back to the bags. On the bump, he pitched with conviction in his 3-pitch mix, dominating hitters with his mid-80s fastball, vertical breaking ball and really nice fading change up. He is also a switch-hitter that showed feel for the barrel, creating backspin liners and plenty of bat speed that projects for some power in the future. Pearce is toolsy and should be a factor on both sides of the ball throughout his career.
TJ Woodson
SS - 2025 - Mechanicsville, VA
Baylor
TJ Woodson ('25, VA) was super impressive with the glove, showing elite range and first step quickness allowing him to cover significant ground. He has natural feel for the glove, understands angles and possesses a strong, very accurate arm with true carry up to 84 mph across the field. At the plate he builds nice bat speed and turns hard in the core with loud impact gap to gap. He also shows real promise on the mound with a lively FB up to 87 mph to go with a tight slider and hard fading CH that profile as plus pitches. Woodson is a Baylor commit and will be a factor on both sides of the ball at the next level is he so chooses.
Matthew Roussey
RHP - 2025 - Ashburn, VA
Christopher Newport University
Matthew Roussey ('25, VA) is a super projectable 6-4/198 right handed pitcher with excellent body control and a well developed delivery on the mound. He pitches with an edge about him and is super competitive with conviction in what he is doing. He featured a FB up to 86 mph to go with a CB/SL/CH blend of pitches. The slider was his best off speed pitch on the day, showing late two-plane bite in the mid-70s. There is more to come stuff wise and a great arm to follow.
Caden Parks
C - 2025 - Concord, NC
Delaware State
Caden Parks ('25, NC) showed a wide range of talent around the diamond, displaying athleticism and feel for most any spot and excelling in his reps behind the dish. Starting with one knee down he moved quickly to his release and put a couple throws on the bag in the 1.98 range. At the plate he used a wider stance getting into his base to allow him to get on plane and get the bat head violently to contact. He was at his best when he used the opposite field gap and allowed his strong hands to do the damage.
Mason Teal
C - 2026 - Kannapolis, NC
Uncommitted
Mason Teal ('26, NC) is a physical presence at 6-3/190, a large frame for a primary position catcher but his agility and flexibility allows him to excel behind the dish. He displayed quick, direct footwork to go with a quick release allowing him to make consistently accurate feeds on pop-times typically in the 1.98 range. With the bat, he showed a simple repeatable approach as he stayed consistently on the barrel. His hands are strong at impact and he laced low, line drives gap to gap throughout his BP round. Teal has the look of an offensive catcher that should be a middle of the order hitter long term.
Mark Williams Jr.
1B - 2027 - Arlington, Virginia, United States, VA
Uncommitted
Mark Williams Jr. ('27, MD) had an explosive set of tools that he put on display in the field and on the mound. Already a solid 6-2/185, he moves very well on his feet putting him in position to use his smooth glove work and show off a strong arm up to 82 mph across the diamond working from any slot necessary. On the mound he located his low-80s fastball very well and showed nice two-way potential. His bat may be his carrying tool with his loose hands, natural ability to get the ball in the air and strength that projects real power. Williams Jr. is a must follow in the next couple years.
