Quinn Advincula (2028, VA) is a physical presence at 6-2/180 and has a full set of skills to compliment his physicality. The primary position catcher generated velocity up to 74 mph and a pop-time best 2.10 seconds on the bag. At the plate he generates solid bat speed and showed the ability to elevate the ball to the pull-side with projectable power. Interesting prospect to follow in the short term.
Joshua Elmore
RHP - 2028 - Oakton, VA
Joshua Elmore (2028, VA) showed a well rounded power-oriented skillset with significant raw power at the plate and an explosive fastball on the mound. At 6-0/190 he has a sturdy frame, ran his fastball up to 81 mph and showed the ability to spin a tight vertically shaped breaking ball. At the plate he leaned on several pitches in live game action, including a standup triple that he hit deep into the LCF gap.
Lucas Joseph
LHP - 2028 - Bridgeville, DE
Lucas Joseph (2028, DE) possessed arguably the best left-handed skillset of the weekend and impacted the game in every aspect. On the mound he used a riding fastball that reached 80 mph and tight spinning curveball in the upper-60s to dominate opposing hitters. He also stacked together quality at-bats, using his barrel control and disciplined approach to collect barrels. This is a real left-handed two-way skillset to follow.
Hudson Large
SS - 2028 - Abingdon, VA
Hudson Large (2028, VA) was impressive on all sides of the ball in game action. The 5-11/175 athlete handles himself very well on the infield with solid range and a strong accurate arm. The arm translated well to the mound as he dominated with his fastball that peaked at 80 mph and threw hitters off with his tight upper-60s slider, both of which showed plus spin traits. He also showed great ability with the stick, squaring pitches up often and collecting several extra base hits in live play.
Chase Nemec
C - 2028 - Woodstock, MD
Chase Nemec (2028. MD) had arguably the best hit tool in the event and backed it up in game action with hard hit balls in seemingly every at-bat in game action. With a mature, middle-of-the-field approach, he peppered extra base hits gap-to-gap throughout. His timing and barrel accuracy standout and he plays the game fast with high energy and confidence. Nemec has the look of a real prospect as an offensive catcher long term.
Jerome-Alejandro Stephens
OF - 2028 - Baltimore, MD
Jerome-Alejandro Stephens (2028, MD) is an easy mover with a comprehensive skillset that serves him well in all aspects. He covers ground in the outfield, swings an accurate stick from the left side and possibly showed his most projection on the mound. The lefty showed a well integrated delivery with a lively fastball up to 76 mph, a sweeping breaking ball that missed barrels and in his second inning went to his deceptive changeup often. Stephens is still a lean 5-9/140 with a lot of room to grow.
Jacob Wood
C - 2028 - Mechanicsville, MD
Jacob Wood (2028, MD) is another two-way talent that showed the rare ability to handle the duties behind the dish and go to the mound and collect out too. His performance on. the bump really stood out as he repeated his delivery well and displayed the ability to disrupt opposing hitter's timing. With a 78 mph fastball, high spin breaking ball and solid changeup he landed all three pitches for strikes. A left-handed hitter too, he shows feel for the barrel and some projectable power to go with it.
Carter Alvis
SS - 2029 - Mechanicsville, VA
Carter Alvis (2029, VA) can just about do it all on the ballfields but his ability to handle the bat really stood out. He uses the whole field, recognizes spin and showed nice strike zone discipline as he collected multiple hits back up the middle. He was effective on the mound with a three-pitch mix and was rangy on the infield with a confident glove. It will be interesting to see where his talents take him in the near future.
Drew Augusto
RHP - 2029 - Bridgeton, NJ
Drew Augusto (2029, NJ) RHP, showed well on the mound as he pitched at a refreshingly quick pace and pumped strikes at a high level. He dominated the top of the zone with his mid-to-upper 70s fastball and backed it up with a solid breaking pitch. He missed barrels often and kept his defense involved by inducing a lot of soft contact as well. Augusto has a lean frame currently and has plenty of room to add physicality and should continue to trend in a positive direction.
Clark Chase
1B - 2029 - Clifton, VA
Clark Chase (2029, VA) showed loud, left-handed skills throughout the weekend with a projectable 6-1/170 frame and advanced strength for his class. He handled himself well around the bag at 1B and put on an impressive display in batting practice while performing well in game action with a soaring double through the RCF gap. He also shows promise on the mound, where the lefty used a mid-70s fastball and vertical breaker to keep hitters off balance.
McCoy Nye
MIF - 2029 - Manheim, PA
McCoy Nye (2029, PA) had a nice showcase as he put his two-way talent on display. The 5-10/150 infielder/RHP moves well on the infield with clean actions and plenty of arm. In game action he smoked a ball through the LCF gap for a double and pitched successfully in game action. He has a loose, whippy arm that generated a fastball up to 76 mph and his best pitch was his low-60s slider with plus spin traits up to 2,300+ RPMs.
Quentin Ricketts
1B - 2029 - Pennsville, NJ
Quentin Ricketts (2029, NJ) is an athletic, explosive kind of player that can change the game. At 5-11/180 he is strong and sturdy with plus actions at the plate and on the mound. Speaking of the mound, he showed a heavy mid-70s fastball that ran through hitters and finished them off with a heavy downer of a break in the mid-60s. While it can be refined, he shows raw power at the plate with more to come.
