2027 RHP Boston Selig (Bonita Springs, Fla.) got the ball to open the event for SWFL and just cruised as he worked his way through seven shutout innings without allowing a walk and striking out nine. It was an impressive display of both command and ease of stuff as he filled the zone throughout, challenging hitters with three pitches. He sat in the 81-84 range for just about the entirety of the outing, showing a free and easy release that projects well as he naturally gets stronger, while the mid-70s breaking ball and changeup are both go-to offerings that are effective now and have the traits to really build
