Roadrunners stay undefeated, win tourney

Team Elite Roadrunners posted a perfect 7-0 record in the East Cobb Invitational and topped it all off with a big 8-3 championship win over MBA Pride Elite.
2016 Cam Shepherd (Peachtree Ridge, GA) went 1-2 with a home run for the Roadrunners and Copeland went 1-2 with a 2-run homer as well. 2015 Cobie Vance (Pine Forest, NC) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and a double and 2015 Trey Cabbage (Grainger, TN) went 1-3 with 2 RBI's. Vance showed a sound, quiet hitting approach and a quick first step. Finally, 2016 Garrett Hodges (South Effingham, GA) added an RBI as well.
2015 Brian Eichorn (Richmond Hill, GA) pitched 2 1/3 innings for the Roadrunners, allowing no hits and no runs with 3 strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 82mph. 2016 Sawyer Steele (Newnan, GA) pitched 4 2/3 innings, striking out 6 and peaking his fastball at 85mph. Steele stays tall on the backside, shows smooth delivery and good command.
For the Pride, Alabama State commit 2017 Mervyl "MJ" Melendez (St. James, AL) went 1-4 with 2 RBI's and a double and 2017 Logan Allen (University, FL) went 2-2 with an RBI. Melendez showed good bat speed and good extension, he has a sound hitting approach gap power and is an aggressive hitter.

Team Elite Roadrunners scored their first and only run in the 4th inning, and luckily it was enough to put them past the Astros TECB and earn a spot in the Championship game again MBA Pride Elite later this morning. Final score 1-0.
2015 Kevin Strohschien (George Walton Academy, GA) went 1-2 with a triple for the Roadrunners and North Carolina commit 2015 Jahmai Jones (Wesleyan, GA) went 1-3 with an RBI.
2016 Jonathan Gettys (Gainesville, GA) pitched 5 innings for the Roadrunners, allowing no runs off 1 hit and striking out 10 Astros batters. His fastball peaked at an impressive 93mph. Georgia Tech commit 2015 Jake Lee (Whitewater, GA) pitched the remaining 2 innings, allowing no runs off 3 hits and striking out 3. His fastball peaked at 85mph.
For the Astros, 2016 Elliott Anderson (Cartersville, GA) pitched 6 innings, allowing 1 run off 3 hits and striking out 6. His fastball peaked at 85mph. 2016 Matthew Cole (Kennesaw Mountain, GA) pitched 1 inning, allowing no hits and striking out 1. His fastball peaked at 85mph.
MBA Pride slips by East Cobb Braves

MBA Pride Elite advances to the Championship game of the 16U Perfect Game East Cobb Invitational by defeating the East Cobb Braves 16 2-1. They move on to face Team Elite Roadrunners later this morning.
2016 Donnie Glenski (Bishop Kenny, FL) went 2-3 with a home run for the Pride and Alabama State commit 2017 Mervyl "MJ" Melendez (St. James, AL) went 1-3 with a double. Glenski showed power to all fields and Melendez showed impact speed and gap power. 2018 Chase Sanguinetti (Jesuit, FL) went 1-3 with an RBI and a double as well. He showed good bat speed, a sound hitting approach and confidence.
Another Alabama State commit, 2016 Tyler Myrick (Columbia, FL) pitched a complete game for the Pride, allowing just 1 run off 2 hits and striking out 6 Braves batters. His fastball peaked at 83mph. Myrick showed good command, solid arm action, online delivery and projectable stuff.
For the Braves, 2016 Zach Williams (Pepperell, GA) pitched a complete game, striking out 3 and peaking his fastball at 83mph. Williams throws strikes and showed mound presence and well as good hip rotation.
TigerTown K2Pro breaks late-inning tie to win 5-3

TigerTown K2Pro defeated Nelson Baseball School 16s on Sunday after scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to break a 3-3 tie. Caleb Stafford (2016, South Lake HS, FL) had a big day at the plate, going 2-4 with 3 RBI. Joshua Lowe (2016, Pope HS, GA) and Ryan Fisher (2017, South Lake HS, FL) also had 2 hits. Lowe finished 2-3 with 1 walk and 1 run scored, and Fisher went 2-3 with 2 walks. Tyler DeClerq (2016, Montverde Academy, FL) slugged a double for the winners, as well.
Lowe closed out the final 1 and 2/3 innings on the mound and dominated opposing hitters. He allowed 0 runs on 0 hits and struck out 4 of the 5 batters he faced. Lowe showed great command, throwing 72% of his pitches for strikes. His fastball velocity averaged 85-87 mph and topped out at 88 mph.
Seth Robinson (2015, Bremen HS, GA) and Andrew Mitchell (2016, Kell HS, GA) each had 1 RBI for Nelson Baseball School 16s.
Astros TECB advance with 4-2 Win

Astros TECB got two runs on the board early and held on late to secure a birth in the semifinals tomorrow with a 4-2 victory over the East Cobb Astros 15u.
John Devine (2016, Hillgrove, GA) tossed a complete game for Astros TECB. Devine gave up two runs on three hits while fanning six. He threw 74% of his pitches as strikes and hit 82mph on his fastball.
Fuzzy Furr (2016, Walton, GA), Daniel Seres (2016, Sequoyah, GA), and Brooks led the way on offense for Astros TECB. Furr finished the game with 2 RBIs and one run scored while Seres and Brooks went a perfect 2-2 with 1 RBI.
Brett Usry (2016, Schley County, GA) and Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett, GA) each registered 1 RBI in the loss for East Cobb. Kalen Puckett (2017, Upson-Lee, GA) doubled once and scored one run.
MBA Pride Elite Stay Perfect, Move on

MBA Pride Elite improved to 5-0 with a 3-1 quarterfinal victory over Team Elite Prime. MBA used two runs in the first inning to get started, and tacked on one more later to help ensure the win.
Michael Rivera (2015, International Baseball Academy, PR) got the start and pitched 6 solid innings for MBA Pride Elite. Rivera allowed one run on just three hits. He was impressive all game setting up hitters, showing control on both sides of the plate, and attacking batters. Rivera showed outstanding arm speed as he topped his fastball out at 90mph. The right-hander competed on the mound, threw strikes, and fanned 9.
Alec Sanchez (2018, Providence, FL) went 2-3 at the plate for MBA and scored one run. William Rosado (2017, Deltona, FL) recorded 1 RBI in the win.
For Team Elite Prime, Zach Linginfelter (2016, Sevier County, TN) got the start and gave a solid effort. Zach tossed 4 innings allowing three runs and striking out 6. He was aggressive with his FB and competed well on the mound. He knew how to pitch displaying good command, sound mechanics, and reaching 91mph on his fastball. His CB touched 76mph.
MBA Pride Elite move on to the semifinal round tomorrow against the East Cobb Braves 16.
Fury Baseball get by Flying Tigers

Fury Baseball used a pair of 1-run innings to tame Flying Tigers Baseball 2-0. Fury Baseball pitchers surrendered just one hit in the win.
Hunter Gaddis (2016, Sequoyah, GA) got the start on the mound for Fury Baseball. Gaddis pitched 5 innings, allowed no hits, and struck out five while displaying good command and a balanced delivery. He used solid arm action and attacked hitters. His fastball reached 82mph.
Jake Johnston (2016, Etowah, GA) doubled and drove in one run for Fury. Christian Ketchup (2016, Holy Innocents Episcopal, GA) recorded the second RBI.
Luke Sutko (2017, West Forsyth, GA) gave a solid complete game effort for Flying Tigers Baseball. Although he did not get the win, he allowed two runs on three hits, but struck out an impressive 10 batters. Sutko showed control on both sides of the plate, had a balanced, online delivery, and had a good follow through.

The Home Plate Chilidogs 16U Bedrosian/Childs won in dramatic fashion on Sunday afternoon with a walk-off win over the Excel Blue Sox, 2-1. Blake Crossing (2016, Newnan HS, GA) paced the offense for the Home Plate Chilidogs 16U team, going 2-3. Kevin Barham (2017, Salem HS, GA) and Adam Spurlin (2016, Tift County HS, GA) each scored 1 run for the winners.
On the mound, starting pitcher Jenard Morris dominated hitters over his 4 innings of work. Morris allowed 0 hits and 0 runs, while striking out 4 batters. He threw his fastball hard on the day, maintaining an average velocity of 80-81 mph and reaching as high as 83 mph. Killian Smith (2016, Starrs Mill HS, GA) earned the win in his 1 inning of scoreless relief work.
Lucas Bryant (2015, Fort Payne HS, AL) led the Excel Blue Sox on offense and finished the game 1-2 with a double and 1 run scored.
Kaylib Hanson (2016, Boaz HS, AL) also contributed 2 innings of solid relief for the Blue Sox. Hanson displayed great command of his pitches on the afternoon, throwing 80% of them for strikes. He averaged a fastball velocity of 75-78 mph and touched 80 mph as well.
Fat Cat Thunder pound out 12 hits to win 13-2

Fat Cat Thunder won big on Sunday over the East Cobb Black Knights behind a strong offensively showing, 13-2. The Thunder received 9 hits from the 1-4 hitters and collected 12 total hits in the game to earn the victory. Lead-off hitter Taylor Bauman (2016, Forsyth Central HS, GA) sparked the offense, going 3-4 with 3 doubles, 3 runs scored, 1 RBI, and 2 stolen bases. Parker Biederer (2016, Forsyth Central HS, GA) also scored 3 runs and stole 2 bases. The middle of the order did some serious damage on the day as Triston Campbell (2016, North Forsyth HS, GA), Hunter Bauman (2016, Forsyth Central HS, GA), and Zack Hermann (2016, Pickens County HS, GA) each collected 2 RBI. Campbell went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, Bauman was 3-4 with 1 run scored, and Hermann was 1-4 with 1 run scored and a triple.
Dillon Champion (2016, Pickens County HS, GA) started the game on the mound for Fat Cat Thunder and pitched 3 innings of no-hit baseball to earn the victory. Brian Turner Orr (2015, West Forsyth HS, GA) finished the final 1.1 innings of the game in relief and struck out 2 batters. Orr showed great command of his pitches by throwing 86% for strikes. In his appearance, Orr threw his fastball 74-78 mph with a maximum velocity of 79 mph.
Cartersville Canes score early and win 8-6

The Cartersville Canes won on Sunday over the Frozen Ropes 6-8 after scoring 4 runs in each of the first two innings. Maxwell McGinnis (2016, Darlington HS, GA) had an outstanding day at the plate for Cartersville, going 2-3 with 4 RBI, 2 runs scored, 2 stolen bases, 1 double, and 1 triple. Noah Daniel (2017, Cartersville HS, GA) also had a great game for the Canes, finishing 2-2 and scoring 2 runs for the winners. Lead-off hitter Evan Ray (2016, Woodland HS, GA) joined Daniel in scoring 2 runs as well.
The Frozen Ropes were led by Jimmy Dwyer (2016, Mcintosh HS, GA), who finished 2-3 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Will Morris (2016, East Coweta HS, GA) also finished 1-3 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI, and 1 triple. Another extra-base hit was added by Preston McDuffie (2016, Sandy Creek HS, GA), who doubled and scored a run in the loss.

Team Elite Prime scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to comeback from a 3-2 deficit to beat 643 DP Baseball - Mang, 4-3 on Sunday. 2014 Underclass 2nd Team selection Bryce Denton (2015, Ravenwood HS, TN) led Team Elite's offense, going 2-3 with an RBI. Cameron Hankins (2016, Mountain View HS, GA) collected the only extra-base hit of the game with a double. Hankins finished the game 1-2 with 1 RBI and 1 walk.
John Michael Diedrich (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA) threw 2 and 1/3 solid innings in relief for the winners. Diedrich surrendered 0 hits and struck out 4 batters to secure the victory for Team Elite Prime. He averaged a fastball velocity of 79-84 mph and reached as high as 85 mph.

The East Cobb Tigers 15u team took care of business Sunday afternoon, beating the Game Ready Athletics - 16's, 12-6. Luke Gray (2018, North Paulding HS, GA) paced the Tiger's offense, going 2-3 with 1 RBI, 2 runs scored, and 1 walk. Nate Butterworth (2016, East Paulding HS, GA), Sam Stepp (2017, Dalton HS, GA), and Trae Dunn (2017, South Forsyth HS, GA) also scored 2 runs and stole 1 base each for the winners. The big blow of the game was delivered by lead-off hitter Zack Daniels (2017, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, GA), who launched a 2-run home run. Daniels finished the game 1-3 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI, and 2 walks.
Hartman led the offensive charge for the Game Ready Athletics - 16's. He finished 1-2 with a double, 2 walks and 3 RBI. Other players to collect RBI's in the game included Wakings, Johnson, and Brandon Milis (2016; McIntosh, GA). Johnson and Webb both scored 2 runs in the loss.

Cobie Vance (2015, Pine Forest HS, NC) led the team on offense 3-4 with a triple, an RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base. North Carolina commit Jahmai Jones (2015, Wesleyan HS, GA) was impressive going 2-3 with 3 runs, an RBI, and a walk. Kevin Strohschein (2015, George Walton Academy, GA) was 2-3.
Christian Ryder (2016, North Paulding HS, GA) threw five shutout innings for the Roadrunners. He displayed good command, good extension out front, and a 85-87 mph fastball.

Finally, 2016 Myles Smith (Shiloh, GA) went 1-3 with an RBI.

Astros TECB beat Team Elite Louisville Slugger 2-1 on Sunday afternoon behind Breonn Pooler's (2016, Sparkman HS, AL) complete game. Pooler pitched 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run on 4 hits, while striking out 3 to earn the victory. He displayed great command of his pitches by throwing 70% of them for strikes and threw his fastball 79-84 mph.
At the plate, TECB collected 5 hits from five different players. Christopher Davis (2015, Avon Old Farms HS, CT) and stand-out catcher Daniel Seres (2016, Sequoyah HS, GA) each scored 1 run for the winners. John Devine's (2016, Hillgrove HS, GA) double was the only extra-base hit of the game.
Outfielder Denzel Coley (2016, Winder-Barrow HS, GA) led Team Elite Louisville Slugger offensively. Coley finished the game 1-2 with 1 stolen base and 1 run scored. Lead-off hitter Riley King (2016, Collins Hill HS, GA) collected the only RBI of the game.

The East Cobb Braves 16 beat the Upstate Mavericks Black 7-2 in a late afternoon tournament game.
The Braves were led on offense by Rocky Brown (2016, Kell HS, GA) who was 1-2 with 2 RBIs, a run scored, and a walk. Zach Williams (2016, Pepperell HS, GA) also had a solid game going 1-1 with 2 walks, a run, an RBI, and a stolen base.
Brian Peet (2016, Etowah HS, GA) was the star on the mound throwing a complete game giving up just 2 runs. He used a four pitch mix including a 76-81 mph to strikeout 9 Mavericks.
Joe Satterfield (2016, JL Man HS, SC) was 3-3 with a double and an RBI for the Upstate Mavericks Black. Richard Gregory (2016, Gaffney HS, SC) was 1-1 with a stolen base.

2016 Corbin Bice (Chilton Co, AL) went 1-3 with a double for Team Easton and 2017 Joseph Keating (Mt. Brook, AL) went 2-2 with a double. 2016 Heath Traylor (Vestavia Hills, AL) went 1-3 with 2 RBI's and a double and 2016 Garrett Chandler (Thompson, AL) went 1-3 with an RBI as well.

2016 Steven Curry (Milton, GA) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's and a triple for Team DeMarini, and 2015 Josh Saavedra (Milton, GA) went 3-3 with an RBI. 2016 Jacob Greene (Mount Pisgah Christian, GA) went 1-4 with an RBI, 2016 Caleb Pruitt (West Forsyth, GA) went 1-2 with an RBI and 2016 William Mapes (Mount Pisgah Christan, GA) went 2-3 with 2 RBI's.

Team Elite South 16's defeated the Bullpen Diamond Dogs 15-7 behind the strong offensive days of Evan Crystal (2017, Bradwell Institute HS, GA) and Ryan Desbien (2016, Bradwell Institute HS, GA). Crystal went 3-4 with 1 double, 4 runs scored, 4 RBI, 1 stolen base and 1 walk. Not to be outdone, Desbien added in a 3-4 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 5 RBI at the plate.
Elite leadoff hitter, Zack Tong (2017, Mt De Sales Academy HS, GA), helped start their big innings by going 1-2 with 1 double, 3 runs scored and 2 walks on the day.
For the Dogs, their offense was lead by Ryne Emery (2016, Oak Hill HS, IN) who went 2-3 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Another strong performer was Christian Livingston (2016, Oak Hill HS, IN) who went 2-2 with 1 double, 2 runs scored and 1 walk.

Team Elite Roadrunners scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to come back from a 1-0 deficit to defeat Team Elite South Yankees 6-1 in the second round of the playoffs.
Leadoff hitter Jahmai Jones (2015, Wesleyan HS, GA), a North Carolina commit, went 1-3 in the game with a homerun and three RBIs. Trey Cabbage (2015, Grainger HS, TN) went 1-3 as well with a triple and a run scored. Cam Shepherd (2016, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA), Garrett Hodges (2016, South Effingham HS, GA), and Michael Curry (2015, Gainesville HS, NC), a Georgia commit, each chipped in with a double in the game. Curry and Shepherd each had an RBI as well. Luke Corbin (2016, Woodward Academy, GA) pitched 2.1 innings of work striking out three, and had a fastball that topped out at 84 mph. Evan Rowlinson (2015, Alpharetta HS, GA) pitched three innings, and he too displayed a fastball that reached 84 mph in the game.
For the Yankees, Hayes Roach (2016, Carrollton HS, GA) provided some spark for the offense going 2-2 with two doubles. Parker Roach (2016, Carrollton HS, GA) also chipped in with a double of his own in the game. Tanner Ritchie (2017, Metter HS, GA) made an appearance for the Yankees, and showed off fastball that topped out at 86 mph.

Tennessee Twisters 16U scored 2 runs each in the 5th, 6th, and 7th innings to help them beat Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy Blue 8-7.
2016 Gavin Rogers (Soddy Daisy, TN) went 1-3 with an RBI and a double for the Twisters and 2016 Cale Morgan (Soddy Daisy, TN) went 2-4 with an RBI. 2017 Austin Delay (Ridgeland, TN) went 1-3 with an RBI, 2016 Trey Catnzaro (Baylor, TN) went 3-3 with an RBI, and 2016 Ty Wallace (Franklin County, AL) went 2-3 with an RBI as well.
2016 Chandler Hardiman (Lincoln County, TN) pitched 2 innings for the Twisters, allowing just 1 run off 3 hits and striking out 3. His fastball peaked at 82mph.

Austin Russell (2016, East Coweta HS, GA) provided the spark in the offense for SEB 16u Black as they defeated Team DeMarini GA 16u Gold 3-2.
Russell went 2-2 at the plate with a double and a run scored in the game. CJ Smith (2017, Royston, GA) also helped out in the process going 2-2 as well with a run scored. Jake Hershman (2016, Hebron Christian Academy, GA) pitched a complete game for SEB, flashing a fastball that reached 81 mph and averaged 78-80 mph throughout. He also was able to effectively mix in some off-speed with a curveball and a few changeups.
For Team DeMarini, Carey Spratlin (2016, Providence Christian Academy, GA) went 1-1 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored. T. Litras, Zach Jones(2016, North Paulding, GA), and Anthony Trovato (2015, South Forsyth HS, GA) chipped in with a double a piece in the game. Jack Leckemby (2015, Milton HS, GA) threw five innings for Team DeMarini, with a fastball that averaged 76-80/80 mph and also mixed in a curveball and a slider to compliment as his off-speed pitches. Logan Exum (2016, Murphy HS, NC) also threw two innings of work, and showed off an impressive fastball that peaked at 83 mph and mixed in a handful of curveballs as well.

The Players Edge 16u defeated the Louisiana Blast Baseball 16u by a score of 6-5 in Saturday night's action. Edge leadoff hitter, Gino Damian (2015, Olympic Heights Community HS, FL) helped spark the offense by going 2-3 with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.
Also having good offensive days for the Edge were Chris Sanders (2016, West Boca Raton HS, FL) and Aaron Kleintop (2017, Boca Raton Community HS, FL). Sanders went 1-1 with 1 double, 2 runs scored, 2 RBI and 1 walk. Kleintop provided more power as he went 1-2 with 1 home run, 1 run scored, 3 RBI and 1 walk.

The Ninth Inning Royals defeated Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy 16U Red 9-2 behind some good pitching from Booth Vogel (2016, Tucker HS, GA) and Sean Repaskey (2016, St. Pius X, GA). The two combined to just give up four hits in the game.
Repaskey pitched five innings of work striking out five, showing good command with his curveball and had a fastball that topped out at 79 mph. Booth pitched an inning for the Royals, with a fastball that also topped out at 79 mph. At the plate, Cole Mannion (2016, Wesleyan HS, GA) went 1-2 with a triple, two RBIs and a run scored. Chris McNulty (2016, St. Pius X CAtholic, GA) went 1-4 with a double three RBIs in the game.
For Mizuno Team GA, Alex Thompson (2016, Wesleyan HS, GA) showed some life in the offense going 1-2 with an RBI. Clint Prettyman (2016, Wesleyan HS, GA) went four innings for Mizuno, flashing a fastball that peaked at 79 mph, and mixed in a handful of off-speed pitches.

Chris McNulty (2016, St. Pius X Catholic HS, GA) led the Royals 16s' offense with a big 3 RBI double and Cole Mannion (2016, Wesleyan HS, GA) finished 1-2 with 1 run scored, 2 RBI, and a triple. Austin Wilkey (2016, Meadowcreek HS, GA) also scored 2 runs for the winners after walking in both of his at-bats.

Clutch 6th inning offense pushed the 16u Eagles to tie the Georgia Jackets 15u National with a final score of 6-6. For the Eagles offense, a timely 2 out 6th inning 2 run single from Drew Ishoy (2016, Collins Hill HS, GA) helped give them the lead momentarily. Ishoy had an overall nice day at the plate as well going 2-4 with 1 double and the 2 RBI. The Jackets received their big hit from Thomas McGee (2017, Mount Pisgah Christian HS, GA) whose RBI single in the 6th helped tie up the game, McGee went 2-2 on the day with 1 double, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI to help lead the offense.
The Eagles' starter, Jordan Adcox (2016, Collins Hill HS, GA), worked fast and attacked hitters in his 3 innings on the mound as he showed a loose arm action on his 79-83/84 mph fastball.
For the Jackets, their starting pitcher, Patrick McNamara (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA), tossed 3 1/3 innings allowing only 1 unearned run on 2 hits and 4 walks while striking out 6. McNamara featured a 73-76/78 mph fastball but used a good 63-67 mph curveball as his outpitch. The Ninth Inning Royals 16s defeated the Players Edge 16u by a score of 5-1 behind the strong pitching performances from Sean Repaskey (2016, St Pius X HS, GA) and Nick Ewing (2016, Druid Hills HS, GA). Repaskey started the game throwing a perfect 1 2/3 innings and striking out 2 using a 76-78 mph fastball. Ewing came out if the bullpen for the Royals throwing 5 1/3 innings allowing only 1 run on 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6.
Offensively for the Royals, Brennan Fitzpatrick (2015, St Pius X Catholic HS, GA) and Joshua Suson-Mrak (2016, Decatur HS, GA) lead the way. Fitzpatrick went 1-3 with 1 triple, 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases on the day. Suson-Mrak followed that up by going 1-3 with 1 double and 2 RBI.

The East Cobb Patriots-16 jumped out to an early 9-0 lead, and went on to defeat the Georgia Select 9-6, after the Select tried to make a late inning rally, but fell short in the end.
The Patriots got a lot of production on the offensive end scoring the nine runs on 10 hits. Patrick Lewis (2016, Georgia Military Prep, GA) went 1-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Brigham Bailey (2016, Sequoyah HS, GA) also went 1-3 with an RBI, a run scored and one stolen base. Taylor Head (2016, Etowah HS, GA) went 1-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Gabe Davenport (2017, Greater Atlanta Christian, GA) went 2.2 innings for the Patriots, striking out two and allowing two hits. He had a fastball that topped out at 80 mph and was able to mix in a handful of off-speed pitches. Alabama Baseball Academy defeats A's Elite 5-1 in a Consolation game. Heath Haskins went 1-2 for the day with a triple in the fourth inning. Alabama Baseball Academy didn't relinquish the lead after scoring four runs in the fourth inning when it scored on an RBI double by Layton Waldrop, an error, and a two-run single by Carson Rector.
John Goolsby put together a nice outing today. A's Elite managed just one hit off of the Alabama Baseball Academy's pitcher. He didn't allow any earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his three innings of work. Tyler Hosmer recorded the win for Alabama Baseball Academy. He allowed one run over four innings. Tyler struck out six, walked three and gave up three hits. Jose Chirino took the loss for the A's Elite. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs. East Cobb Braves 16 defeated the Georgia Aces 4-0 thanks to a no-hit effort by Christopher Lucero (2016, Kell HS, GA). Lucero struck out 11 in the contest, and only gave up two walks.
Lucero had a fastball that topped out at 83 mph, while averaging 80-82 mph. He also was able to mix in a number of curveballs and a handful of changeups for his off-speed pitches. Scorpions Panhandle - 2016 scored in the sixth on a solo home run by Seton Bentz, a sacrifice fly by John Weber, a sacrifice fly by Weston Dudley, and a two-run error. Seton got on base three times in the game for Scorpions Panhandle - 2016. He scored two runs and had one RBI.
Josh McLanahans's seven strikeouts today were enough to help the Scorpions Panhandle - 2016 win today. He only allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings. Dylan Thompson had a tough time on the mound with taking the loss for his team. He lasted just one inning of work, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs. The East Cobb Orioles scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take the lead and eventually go on to win against Rawlings Recruits Baseball Club, 8-4.
Cameron Collett (2015, Creekview HS, GA) led the way for the Orioles offense by going 1-2 at the plate with a homerun, two runs scored and two RBIs. Kenneth Hartzfeld (2016, The Westminster Schools, GA) went 2-3 with a double, a run scored and one RBI and two stolen bases. Dawson Ewers (2015, Creekview HS, GA) provided some life as well by going 2-3 with a run scored. Clay Davis (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA) went three innings on the mound and was able to throw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, and had a good presence with attacking the hitters.

MBA Pride Elite survives Knoxville Stars 16u 6-5 in the second round of the playoffs thanks to Zach Cardwell's late game heroics. Zach Cardwell brought home the game winning run to give his team the lead in the sixth inning. Trey Hinton walked to get on base in the sixth. He then went from first to third on a double by Tanner Thomas. Jose Ciccarrello racked up two RBIs on two hits for MBA Pride Elite. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Zach baffled MBA Pride Elite with striking out three batters for the day. He allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over 4 2/3 innings. Altoon Coleman got the win for the MBA Pride Elite. He allowed three runs over five innings. Altoon struck out eight, walked five and gave up three hits. Spencer Strider was on the wrong side of the decision today as he took the loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings worth, walking six, struck out none, and allowed five runs. MBA Pride Closer Robert Turon help put away the game by taking down the final six outs. Upstate Mavericks Black survives Georgia Jackets 15u 5-4 thanks to Joe Satterfield's late-game heroics in the second round of the playoffs. Joe Satterfied drove in the go-ahead run to help give the lead to the Mavericks in the eighth. Georgia Jackets 15u scored three runs in the eighth on a fielder's choice. It was a good day at the plate for Upstate Mavericks Black's Cameron. He went 2-3 for the day with driving in one and scored one run with a two singles.
Noah Linhart pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed no earned runs on four hits. Kaleb Ledford had a tough time on the mound today as he got the loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run. Linhart threw a fastball ranging from 79-82 mph and topping at 84 mph. Austin Weiermiller fastball range today was 82-84 mph with a change up 72-75 mph range. Ledford's fastball topped at 84 mph.

Excel Blue Wave upends the Rays Elite 2016's in the second round of the playoffs 5-4. Drew Webb (Brookstone, Midland, GA 2016) brought home the gaming winning run to help Excel win the game. Davis walked to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Garret Raffle (Providence Christian, Dothan, AL 2016). Drew for the Rays racked up two RBIs on two hits for the day. Griffin Rivers (Homewood, Birmingham, AL 2016) was pretty hot at the plate for Excel Blue Wave. Griffin went 2-3 for the day, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the fifth inning.
Chase Robinson (Pell City, Pell City, AL 2016) baffled the Rays Elite 2016's, striking out twelve hitters for the day. He also allowed two earned runs, three hits and three walks over 5 1/3 innings of work. Austin Kyser (Macon-East Montgomery Academy, Montgomery, AL 2016) started pitching off for the Rays with tossing four innings worth with giving up four hits, one run and striking out five for day. The East Cobb Astros 15u uses big sixth inning to beat Excel Blue Wave 15u, 7-0 in the second round of the playoffs. East Cobb Astros top hitter Davis Schwartz did a good job to help his team out at the plate today. Schwartz reach base two times today with scoring one run and had one RBI. Justin Foscue help his team out today by boosting his batting average because of a perfect 2-2 at the plate. He singled in the first and sixth innings. Schwartz went 1-2 for the day with scoring one run, bring in one run and a walk. Hitting was pretty solid for the East Cobb team with tacking on nine hits and seven runs.
Nick Laster brought the heat today on the mound for Astros. Excel Blue Wave 15u only managed just one hit off of Laster. He didn't allow any earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 3 /2/3 innings of work. Caden Lemons took the loss today for Excel Blue Wave 15u. He lasted 4 2/3 innings of work with walking five, struck out five and allowed one run. Laster's fastball range today was a solid 80-84 mph with a slider range at 75-79 mph. Team Elite South - A's scored five late runs to pull away from 16U East Cobb Indians in a 10-4 victory on Saturday.
Tyler Richards (2016, Valwood HS, GA) and William Wallace (2016, Richmond Hill HS, GA) led the A's offense with two runs batted in a piece. Stone Stephenson (2017, Thomas County Central HS, GA) and Austin Craven (2016, Colquitt County HS, GA) added two hits each in the victory. Hayden Bledsoe (2017, Colquitt County HS, GA) and Buck Blalock (2017, Colquitt County HS, GA) also added two runs scored a piece.
The pitching unit of Doug Smith (2017, Thomas County Central HS, GA) , Stephenson and John Samuel Skenker (2017, Deerfield-Windsor HS, GA) did not allow an earned run, striking out a combined nine hitters. Skenker showed the best fastball, touching 85 mph with his heat. Smith topped out at 77 mph, and Smith reached 79 mph.

East Cobb Astros 15U scored 12 runs in the fourth inning to turn a 4-4 game into a 16-4 victory over Alabama Baseball Academy on Saturday.
Ethan Cady (2016, McCallie School, TN) and Cage Cox (2016, Cairo HS, GA) each drove in three runs for the Astros, and Wesley Brooks (2016, North Gwinnett HS, GA) drove in two more. Nick Laster (2016, West Lake HS, GA), Kalen Puckett (2017, Upson-Lee HS, GA), and Davis Schwartz (2016, Grady HS, GA) each had two hits with two runs scored, as did Colin Hall.
Bryan Grant (2017, Kell HS, GA) tossed a complete game for the Astros, allowing two earned runs on four hits with two strikeouts. Grant's fastball topped out at 81 mph.

Max McKinley (2016, Maclay HS, FL) tossed a complete game one-hitter as Scorpions Panhandle- 2016 topped Bullpen Diamond Dogs, 8-0 on Saturday.
McKinley allowed just a triple to Ryne Emery (2016, Oak Hill HS, IN) in his complete game shutout. McKinley struck out six hitters without allowing a walk, and displayed a fastball that topped out at 84 mph.
The Scorpions only needed six hits to put up their eight runs. Brock Anderson (2016, Sparkman HS, AL) led the way in the onslaught, slugging a home run over the fence at Field 1 of the East Cobb Complex. Anderson ended the game with three runs batted in and two runs scored to go with two hits. Garrett Houston (2016, Starrs Mill HS, GA) added two runs batted in and a run scored, while Gerry Suarez (2016, Marietta HS, GA) scored twice and drove in another. Dylan Baker (2015, Columbus HS, GA) added a triple.
Cameron Allison (2016, Pope HS, GA) tossed a gem for the Astros, allowing just one hit in a four-inning complete game. In four scoreless frames, Allison struck out nine Dodgers hits, and walked just one. Allison's fastball topped out at 84 mph, sitting between 79-83 mph.

The top of the first saw action when the Georgia Blacksox took an early lead off a pair of hits by Douglas Caldwell and Smith. Caldwell had a double and Smith had single.

Walter finished the game 1-1 with 1 home run, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI. 2014 Underclass High Honorable Mention Cole Jackson (2016, Sandy Creek HS, GA) collected the only other RBI for Chilidogs 16U and finished 1-3 with 1 run scored, a double, and 1 RBI. Kevin Barham (2017, Salem HS, GA) also finished 1-3 with 1 run scored and a double.

Austin Moody for the East Cobb Astros was the lone hot hitter for the game. Moody went 2-2 for the day. Tennessee Dores produced nine runs with seven hits to go with it.

Over his 7 innings of work, Bizzle showed great command of his pitches as he threw 76% of them for strikes, and featured a plus fastball that averaged a velocity of 81-86 mph and topped out at 87 mph.

Tyler Carpenter was their lone hot hitter today for the Stingers. Carpenter went 1-3 for the day. Team Easton as team today had seven hits with four runs to go along.
The Stingers couldn't get anything done with Justin Godley on the mound. He held D3 Stingers hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out three. C Plasek pitched six innings of work while giving up seven hits, four runs, two walks and seven strikeouts. Both of these pitchers pitched pretty well for the day.

The Team Elite South Yankees take out the GBSA White Sox with help from Javan Parten 6-2. Javan Parten for the Team Elite South Yankees was perfect from the plate 2-2. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning. Akil Baddoo put himself into scoring position during the ball game. Baddoo doubled in the second and seventh innings.
Mason Parker for the Team Elite South Yankees pitched lights out. The other team only managed one hit off of Parker, who allowed no earned runs, walked none, and struck out seven during his four innings of work. Myles Smith took the lose today. He just lasted 4 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out nine and allowed five runs. Parker's fastball range today was 80-83 mph. Smith's fastball range today was 79-82 mph.

The Georgia Jackets 15U National squad used a huge five-run third inning to take down the Georgia Stars Baseball Academy 16U 6-4.
Jack Gersten (2017, North Springs HS, GA) was instrumental in the big third inning rally for the Jackets, hitting a crucial bases clearing three-run triple with the game tied 3-3. Gersten also singled and walked in the game. Tyler Koch (2016, North Forsyth HS, GA) was 2-2 with a double and single, coming around to score once. Joshua Bennet (2016, Creekview HS, GA) was 2-4 with a run scored while Thomas McGee (2017, Mount Pisgah Christian HS, GA) also had a multi-hit day, going 2-3.
Ben Spencer (2016, Walton HS, GA) got the win with four innings of work on the mound, allowing a single unearned run on three hits with three strike outs. His fastball worked in the 74-77 mph range with a peak of 78 mph, and he also threw a 62-66 mph curve and 59-67 mph change up a handful of times.
The Georgia Stars Baseball Academy 16U picked up multi-hit games from three different players. Carson Mullen (2015, Mount Vernon Christian HS, GA) was 2-4 with two runs scored and a triple. Noah Mills (2016, Parkview HS, GA) drove in two as part of a 2-3 day with a double, and Ryan Muprhy (2017, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA) was 2-3 with a run scored and RBI.
Chase Gonzalez (2017, Dacula HS, GA) wasn't a factor in the decision but did throw 3.1 scoreless innings, surrendering five hits and a walk with two strike outs. He showed four pitches during his outing, a 70-75 mph fastball with a max velocity of 76 mph. A 60-66 mph curve was his go-to breaking ball with a 67 mph slider and 57-62 mph change up as well.

A three-run fifth inning from the bats of the Excel Blue Wave 15u nailed down a 5-2 victory over the 16U East Cobb Rockies.
It was a team effort from the Blue Wave but the offense was led by Justin Focue (2017, Virgil Grissom HS, AL) who reached base every time up, going 2-2 with a walk, two singles, a stolen base, and run scored. Easton Kirk (2017, Piedmont HS, AL) was 1-3 with a two-run double and a run scored, with a top notch baseball name to boot. Jacob Sears (2017, Oxford HS, AL) stole three bases, Jacob Rich (2017, Spain Park HS, AL) stole two bags, and Brooks Brophy (2017, Pelham HS, AL) had an RBI triple.
Austin Smith (2017, Lineville HS, AL) picked up the win throwing 2.2 innings with two strike outs, and one run allowed on on two hits and two walks. His fastball peaked at 78 mph with a 65-68 mph curve ball mixed in. Nathan Lloyd (2017, Oxford HS, AL) handled the other 4.1 innings of work, allowing a run on two hits and five walks with no strike outs. He sat 74-78 with his fastball, maxing out at 79 mph, and he also threw a 66-69 mph curve. Lloyd uses a balanced delivery and high 3/4 arm angle to attack hitters. He throws easy with good arm action and a good follow through.
Dion Simpson (2015, Roswell HS, GA) threw a complete game in a losing effort for the Rockies, allowing five run (three earned) on six hits and five walks with four strike outs. He threw 113 pitches in the game, with 82 of them a 75-80 mph fastball that touched 82 mph. Simpson also worked in a 67-70 mph curve and 71-73 mph change up. He's got an athletic frame with a 3/4 arm angle.
Jack Burrows (2016, Pope HS, GA) picked up East Cobb's only extra base hit with an RBI double. Rey Ramirez (2016, Harrison HS, GA) worked three walks and even had an RBI, and Cody Boring (2016, Etowah HS, GA) reached base twice on a single and a walk.

Matt Rowland (2016, Pope HS, GA) and Armond Painter (2016, The Westminster Schools, GA) teamed up for 643 DP Baseball - Mang to shut out the bigstix gamers 4-0.
Rowland started it off for 643 DP by throwing three innings with just one hit and one walk allowed though he did throw a wild pitch as well. He stuck out one and was credited with the W. He worked his plus fastball with life in the 82-86 mph range with a 75-77 mph slider mixed in. He's a polished pitcher with projectable stuff, attacking hitters and throwing strikes. Rowland comes from a 3/4 arm angle and has sound mechanics and pitches downhill.
Painter came on in relief and threw four scoreless innings with no runs, walks or strike outs and five hits allowed. He also hit a batter but did earn the save. His velocity was in the 70-76 mph range with a curve ball and 67-69 mph change up thrown in the mix.
The offense for 643 DP was led by Tyler Shields (2015, Woodstock HS, GA) who wreaked havoc on the basepaths. He was 1-2 with a triple, was hit by a pitch, reached on an error, scored once and stole three bases. Jordan Merriman (2017, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) also swiped a pair of bags, part of his 1-2 day with a single and walk. Colin Dore (2016, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) kicked in a two-run double in the first inning and he also stole a base.
bigstix gamers picked up six hits on the day but could not string anything together to put any runs on the board. #1, #7, #13, #19, #17, and #45 were the ones to pick up hits, all singles. #5 got the start and went five innings while allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and four walks with one strike out and a wild pitch.

Two runs in the bottom of the seventh allowed Georgia Aces to rally and tie Hoover Baseball Club 2-2 on Saturday.
The Aces’ offense was provided by hits from Walker Boston (2016, Cambridge HS, GA), Kyle Pisanti (2015, North Paulding HS, GA), Ryan Roon (2016, North Paulding HS, GA), and Alex Watkins (2016, The Walker HS, GA). A seventh-inning sacrifice from Harrison Jones (2016, North Paulding HS, GA) and a throwing error recorded the two runs.
Reese Pownall (2016, South Paulding HS, GA) pitched well in the tie for the Aces, surrendering two runs over five innings. Pownall’s fastball peaked at 76 mph. Pitching the final two innings was Max Ryan (2015, Etowah HS, GA), who struck out four over two scoreless frames. Ryan’s fastball peaked at 82 mph, sitting between 78-81 mph.
Hoover’s Devin Cole (2017, Hoover HS, AL) pitched brilliantly, striking out eight hitters and walking four over six innings. Cole displayed a fastball that topped out at 81 mph, and used a four pitch repertoire that included a curveball, a changeup, and a cutter.
Hoover scored their two runs on nine hits, led by a two-hit game from Ben Abercrombie (2017, Hoover HS, AL), who also drove in a run. Kenly Hager (2017, Hoover HS, AL) added two more hits, and Drew Guffey (2017, Hoover HS, AL) drove in the other Hoover run.

The Team Elite Prime offense grabs nine hits in the contest en route to a 11-0 shutout victory over Ninth Inning Royals 16s in five innings.
Leadoff hitter Nick Wilhite (2016, Buford HS, GA) lead the way for the Prime going 2-3 at the plate with two runs scored and an RBI. William Holland (2016, Collins Hill HS, GA), Branden Fryman (2016, J.M. Tate Senior, FL), Mason MacWhorter (2016, West Forsyth HS, GA), and Austin Wilhite (2016, Buford HS, GA) all contributed to the offense with a double in the game. MacWhorter also had three RBIs on the day. Aaron Schunk (2016, The Lovett School, GA) threw an inning of work, striking out two, and displayed the ability to throw strikes with a very impressive fastball that topped out at 88 mph. Johnathan Jahn (2016, Westside HS, GA) also had a fastball that reached 88 mph in the game. Will Ethridge (2016, Grayson HS, GA) also pitched two innings, while also showing off his fastball that peaked at 84 mph. Zach Linginfelter (2016, Sevier County HS, TN) pitched an inning, with a fastball that topped out at 89 mph.
For the Royals, Zach Walch (2016, Norcross HS, GA) went 1-1 at the plate. Austin Ledet (2016, Druid Hills HS, GA) pitched .2 innings displaying a fastball that peaked at 84 mph, while averaging 82-83 mph. Roadrunners roll to 4-1 victory over Rebels

The Rawlings Elite Rebels staked an early lead with a run in the first inning but the could not hold off Team Elite Roadrunners as they stormed back to a 4-1 win. The Roadrunners scored two in the fourth inning and another two runs in the sixth for some insurance.
The Roadrunners were led by Michael Curry (2015, Gainseville HS, NC) who got lift and separation with his first home run of the tournament, and worked a walk in his three plate appearances. Curry has committed to play at the University of Georgia. Cobie Vance (2015, Pine Forest HS, NC) picked up two hits in the game, smacking a double and a single with one run driven in. Garrett Hodges (2016, South Effingham HS, GA) and Cole Zabowski (2016, Collins Hill HS, GA) each doubled as well, and both would come around to score.
On the mound, Zabowski was credited with the win after throwing 1.1 innings, allowing the only run of the game on one hit, one walk and he struck out two. He ran his fastball up to 79 mph and sat in the 75-78 mph range. Cam Shepherd (2016, Peachtree Ridge HS, GA) tossed a pair of innings, allowing two hits, no runs or walks, and he punched out four. Shepherd actually used his curveball more than his fastball in the game, throwing 19 hooks in the 69-73 mph range and 15 fastballs ranging from 80-85 mph.
JD Masters (2016, Starrs Mill HS, GA) shouldered the majority of the workload for the Rawlings Elite Rebels, throwing 4.2 innings and 100 pitches. He worked mainly off his fastball which was in the 78-83 mph range with a peak velocity of 84 mph. Masters also mixed in some 62-65 mph curve balls and a pair of 74-75 mph change ups.
At the plate Allen Shad (2016, Starrs Mill HS, GA) was 2-3 with the only extra base knock, a triple in the second at bat of the game. He would come around to score the only run as Chase Dees (2016, Northgate HS, GA) knocked him in with a sac fly. Dees also singled later in the game.

Thanks to a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth, Team Elite Alpharetta took a 4-3 lead and held the lead to go on and defeat the East Cobb Black Knights.
Mathew Cunningham (2016, South Forsyth HS, GA) went 2-2 at the plate for Alpharetta, with two runs scored. Jake Tomelevage (2016, Lambert HS, GA) went 1-3 with a double. Daniel Mickelson (2016, Lambert HS, GA) added to the offense going 1-1 with an RBI, two stolen bases, and a drawn walk. On the mound, Zach Graveno (2016, Lambert HS, GA) pitched 3.1 innings of work, showing a good presence on the mound with a fastball that peaked at 83 mph and averaged 80-82 mph, while also showing a good slider. Cole Varner (2016, Lambert HS, GA) threw an inning, while also having an impressive fastball that topped out at 82 mph, and showed the ability to field his position well.
For the Knights, Nick Zimmer (2016, Blessed Trinity Catholic, GA) went 1-2 at the plate with two stolen bases. Anthony Porter (2016, Kell HS, GA) went 1-3 at the palte with an RBI. The North Bulldogs scored in every inning but the first, and erupted for 12 hits in the game as they defeated Flying Tigers Baseball 12-4. The Bulldogs scored three runs in second, two in the third, one in the fourth, and six in the fifth inning.
P.J. Lynch led the way going 2-4 at the plate with a triple and two runs scored. Mac went 3-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Michael, Duncan, and Weltian each contributed with a double in the game.
For the Flying Tigers, Chris Bagby (2016, South Forsyth HS, GA) went 1-2 with an RBI. Leadoff hitter Connor Tinkle (2016, Central HS, GA) went 1-3 with a run scored and one stolen base. The East Cobb Astros took a quick 5-0 lead, going on to win one against the Excel Blue Sox 9-6. Every time the Blue Sox threatened to rally back the Astros responded with runs of their own.
Astros starter, and winning pitcher, Darius Pope (2017, Westlake, GA) gave his team 5 1/3 solid innings of work. He gave up four runs (two earned), six hits, and two walks. He topped out at 83 mph and had eight strikeouts.
Will Banfield (2018, Brookwood, GA) showed great patience at the plate as he picked the right pitches to attack. His 3 for 3 day with two doubles, one walk, two runs scored, and one RBI stood out. East Cobb Orioles scored 7 runs in the 1st inning for the go-ahead 12-0 victory over 16U Eagles.
2016 Kenneth Hartzfeld (The Westminister School, GA) went 1-3 with an RBI and a double for the Orioles and 2015 Cameron Collett (Creekview, GA) went 3-4 with an RBI and a double. 2016 Jack Kouloukas (Roswell, GA) went 1-3 with 2 RBI's and a double and 2016 Shane Wiltsey (North Cobb, GA) went 1-4 with 2 RBI's. Finally, 2015 Dawson Ewers (Creekview, GA) went 1-2 with 3 RBI's.
Pitching for the Orioles was 2016 Jonathan Sentell (Etowah, GA). He threw all 4 innings, allowing no runs off of 1 hit and striking out 10 Eagles batters. His fastball peaked at 81mph. Sentell showed control on both sides of the plate and pinpoint command. He throws easy, works fast, and has mound presence.
Mavericks Win It 7-6 in Back and Forth Game

The momentum swung back and forth in this Upstate Mavericks Black and 212 Foundation Sports game. The final momentum would swing in favor of the Mavericks as they defeated 212 Foundation Sports 7-6 on a bases-loaded, game-ending walk.
Losing 2-0, the Upstate Mavericks put together a three-run third and fourth inning. Cameron Jensen (2016, J L Mann, SC) had the big blow in the process, a 2-run double in the bottom of the fourth. That brought the game to a 5-2 Mavericks advantage. Jensen had one other hit and scored three runs total. Jacob Oaks (2016, Southside Christian Schools, SC) had two hits, scored a run, and stole a base. Chris Thompson (2016, J L Mann, SC) plated two runs in the contest. Joe Satterfield (2016, J L Mann, SC) drew the winning bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the sixth.
Garret Mueller (2016, Wade Hampton, SC) only recorded one out, but in the process he grabbed the win as well for the Upstate Mavericks. Jacob Oaks sported a 82-85 mph on the mound to go along with his nice day at the dish. He went one inning, giving up one hit, one walk, and striking out three.
212 Foundation Sports' Dane Bulloch (2016, Mcintosh, GA) lead all hitters with three base hits. Bulloch drove in two runs and scored one too. Zach Swindell (2016, Northgate, GA) had a solid 2 for 2 day with an RBI and a run scored.

The Tennessee Twisters 16u found got exactly what they needed from their starting pitcher who led them to a 4-1 victory over Team 360 Baseball. Brandon Willingham (2016, Boyd Buchanan) went all 7 innings for the Twisters, and he finished the game with an impressive stat line. Willingham finished with 10 strikeouts, while only allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run.
Clay Dickie (2016, Buford) was equally as stout pitching for Team 360 Baseball. He went 4 innings, allowing just 1 hit, while striking out two in relief.
Ty Wallace (2016, Franklin County) and Trey Catnzaro (2016, Baylor) each went 1-3 with a run scored for the Twisters.

2017 Henry Santiago (University, FL) hit a grand slam for Predators Baseball in the bottom of the 1st inning en route to a 9-5 victory over Blue Collar Baseball. Santiago went 2-2 while at bat. He showed a fluid bat, good plate coverage, good bat speed and power potential.

PJ Reardigan (2016, Mt Paran Christian, GA) and Anthony Casella (2015, Etowah, GA) led the way on offense for Nelson Baseball. Reardigan went 2-3 with a double and recorded an impressive 4 RBIs. Casella went a perfect 3-3 with 2 RBIs and he also scored twice. Thomas Leffew (2016, South Cobb, GA) also went perfect at the plate while doubling once, driving in one run, and scoring three himself. Seth Robinson (2015, Bremen, GA) was busy on the bases as he crossed home 3 times.

459 south thought their 4-0 lead with one half inning left was safe. However, Barrett Baseball had other ideas and came from behind, triumphing 5-4.
After several walks and a hit by pitch, Parker Morrison (2016, Forsyth Central, GA) moved everyone station to station as he singled to the third baseman and cut the lead to 4-3. Hugh York (2016, North Forsyth, GA) played hero as he rocked a two-run, walk-off single to left field.
Pierce Nufer (2016, Forsyth Central, GA) picked up the win in the come from behind victory. He pitched the final three innings, holding 459 south to one run on two hits and one walk. He struck out three batters over those three innings.
Grey Humphries (2017, McAdory, AL), Shonski Hadley (2016, McAdory, AL) , and Bailee Sellers (2017, Thorsby, AL) all had multiple hits in this game. Sellers drove in a team high two runs in the contest.

TigerTown K2Pro finished off Rawlings Recruits Baseball 8-0 over a shortened five inning game. TigerTown scored in every inning except the second.
Casey Todd (2017, Lake Brantley, FL) picked up the win for TigerTown as he pitched all five innings. One hit and two walks were the only mistakes he made all day. He pitched to contact, throwing 60% of his pitches for strikes. He struck out four.
Leading the way for TigerTown offensive was Bernard Gilot (2016, Montverde Academy, FL). Gilot went a perfect 3 for 3 and drove in a team high four runs. Also chipping on the offensive end was Hayden Miller (2016, Pope, GA) and Cash Case (2017, Montverde Academy, FL). Miller had two hits (one double) in two at-bats while scoring three runs and driving in one of his own. Miller also swiped two bases. Case ripped two base hits (one double) and scored a run.
For the Rawlings Recruits, Tyler Morris (2016, Oakville Sr., MO) had the lone hit, a single in the top of the fifth.

The Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy 16U Blue put it all together as they scored in every single inning and got a stellar pitching performance on the mound as they cruised to a 12-0 victory over Game Ready Athletics 16's.
Winning pitcher Matt Studdard (2016, Heritage, GA) fell a walk short of a perfect game as he went on to pitch five scoreless and hitless innings. His fastball topped out at 82 mph and he struck out nine hitters. He showed his aggressiveness as he started off 11 of the 16 batters he faced with strikes.
The Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy pounded out 14 hits over the shortened five inning game. Cole McNamee's (2017, Blessed Trinity Cath, GA) three-run bomb in the top of the fourth made it a 9-0 game. 2-hole hitter Jordan Einstein (2015, Chattahoochee, GA) had three hits and three RBIs . Kyle McCann (2016, Lambert, GA) also smacked three hits and scored three runs.

He struck out 6 by the end of his outing and featured a fastball that averaged a velocity of 75-79 mph and topped out at 82 mph. #40 pitched the final 2.2 innings of relief and threw his fastball 80-83 mph and reached a maximum velocity of 85 mph.

The Excel Blue Wave 15U defeated Team 360 Baseball 4-1 in an afternoon game at Joe Cowen Park.
Seth Rodgers started on the mound for the Wave going 5 innings giving up just one run. He used a 77-79 mph fastball to strike out 6 hitters. He was relieved by Jacob Sears throwing 2 innings and collecting 2 K's. He sat at 80-82 with his fastball and was credited with the save.
Taylor Hayes was the star at the plate for the Wave going 2-3 with a stolen base, a run, and an RBI. Ethan Holsombeck had a good day going 1-2 with 2 stolen bases.
Carlos Luna led Team 360 Baseball on offense going 1-2 with 2 stolen bases. Alex Jacovetty contributed with a hit and an RBI as well. Carson Stone threw 6 innings giving up 3 unearned runs and striking out 4 batters.
Early Success Leads to 212 Foundation 10-2 Win

212 Foundation Sports defeated the Louisiana Blast Baseball 16U 10-2 in five innings. The 212 Foundation had two big innings in the second and third innings to score a total of nine runs in the two innings.
Zach Swindell (2016, Sharpsburg, GA) led 212 Foundation going perfect from the plate with a double and a single. He drove in two runs and scored twice. Kain English (2016, Lovejoy, GA) also had two hits with a double and a single. He was also able to touch home once. Logan Worley (2016, Lovejoy, GA) proved to be an asset in the game by collecting a hit and driving in two runs and touching home twice too. Michael Egan (2016, Peachtree City, GA) had a hit and touched home twice. George Boyd (2016, Senoia, GA) had a RBI double and later scored.
Robert "Bo" Townsend (2016, Fayerreville, GA) tossed all five innings for Foundation Sports. He surrendered give hits and two runs with one being earned. He was also able to strike out five batters on the mound. He showed a quick arm with a good follow through. He showed life of a good curve ball with 12/6 action. He was able to touch 80 mph averaged 76 to 79 mph.
The Louisiana Blast Baseball 16U offense showed some life with five hits and scoring one run in two innings. Nicholus Cacioppo, Jr. (2017, Denham Springs, LA) led the team with two hits on the day. Jeremy Gajan (2016, Clinton, LA) went 1-3 with a RBI to try to lead his team into a rally.
The Blast sent out three pitchers for the four innings of work, but couldn't find consistency where they gave up six walks with 10 runs combined, with six being earned.

Offensively for the Georgia Aces, Andrew Eiswerth (2016, Kennesaw, GA) led the team with two hits, a triple and single. He drove in two runs and touched home three times. Chase Martin (2016, Kennesaw, GA) roped two singles and drove in a run of his own. Andrew Giles (2015, Canton, GA) went 1-3 with a double and a team leading four RBIs and a run. Alex Watkins (2016, Marietta, GA) had a single of his own and scored twice. Kyle Pisanti (2015, Dallas, GA) went 1-3 with a RBI and a run.
The Georgia Aces trio pitching staff gave up a five run second inning to give the Georgia Select an early lead. Ryan Parker (2016, Acworth, GA) came into the second and shut down the Select for the next 3.2 innings and held the team to no runs on four hits. Max Ryan (2015, Woodstock, GA) came into the last inning and faced four batters and struck out two of them. Ryan topped out a 84 mph while on the mound.
The Georgia Select matched the Aces with eight hits of their own too, but their defense allowed for big innings for the Aces. In the leadoff role for the Select, Tristan Capocci (2017, Villa Rica, GA) went a perfect 2-2 with a RBI and a run. Josiah Butcher (2016, Loganville, GA) tacked on a hit of his own and drove in two runs. Jacob Britt (2015, Loganville, GA) also went perfect with two singles and scored two runs and touched home once. Connor McCleary (2016, Athens, GA) and Mikey Lee (2016, Loganville, GA) both added on singles of their own.
The Georgia Select sent six different pitchers into the game. They found some consistency in Conner Dwyer (2016, Loganville, GA) while he went 1.1 innings and striking out two, to lead the team.

The Rawlings Elite Rebels defeated the Rawlings Recruits Baseball club 8-2 in seven innings. Rawlings Elite Rebels totaled 13 hits and had solid pitching to defeat the Rawlings rivals.
For Rawlings Elite Rebels, each batter that tacked on a hit had at least a pair of hits in the game. Carson Balliew (2016, Sharpsburg, GA) had two singles in the game with a RBI and a run. Austin Webb (2016, Fayetteville, GA) followed with two singles too with a run. Jared Kumro (2016, Peachtree City, GA) had two hits and plated on run with two runs. Cody Barnes (2015, Newnan, GA) matched with two hits of his own and a run. Chase Dees (2016, Sharpsburg, GA) went 2-4 with two doubles by showing gap to gap power. He drove two runs in the process. Matt Mullins (2016, Fayetteville, GA) led the team in hits with three. He also showed he could score often by scoring three different times.
Webb also pitched the majority of the game for the team going six innings and giving up five hits and one earned run. He struck out six opponents with his 82 mph fastball. David Chester (2015, Grantville, GA) finished the last inning by striking out one.

The 16U Eagles defeated the Georgia Stars Baseball Academy 16U 8-2 in six innings. The 16U Eagles had two explosive innings that totaled to seven of the eight total runs.
Camden Jones (2017, Suwanee, GA) started and finished the game for the Eagles. He went all six innings and gave up six hits with only two runs to score. He struck out five batters while on the mound.
Alex Guzman (2017, Lawrenceville, GA) was tied for the most hits for the Eagles. He notched two hits, single and double. He also drove in three RBIs in the game. Jeffrey Hill (2018, Lawrenceville, GA) also hit a single and a double in his performance. He also touched home twice. Matthew Stewart (2017, Suwanee, GA) drove in two runs with a double of his own and scored twice in his outing.

He also drove in two runs and touched home twice. Sam Freitas (2016, Lawrenceville, GA) also stroked two hits and touched home once. Andrew Grogan (2016, Cumming, GA) went a perfect 1-1 with two RBIs and a run. Denzel Coley (2016, Duluth, GA) jumped in on the action with a hit of his own and scoring twice. Zachary Miller (2016, Lawrenceville, GA) collected the other extra base hit with his only hit of the game, but he also tacked on a RBI and and a run too.
Team Elite Louisville Slugger sent out three different pitchers. Jack Utley (2016, Lawrenceville, GA) started the game going two innings and giving up only one earned run on four hits. Carter King (2016, Mount Airy, GA) came in relief and tossed a perfect inning. Both these pitchers topped out at 82 mph on the hill. Noah Mejias (2016, Athens, GA) finished the game with four innings while giving up only one hit and no runs. He was able to strike out two batters one his 84 mph fastball. Mejias picked up the win in the game.

The Georgia Jackets 15U defeated the East Cobb Indians 16U in seven innings 5-1.
Mitch McLendon (2016, Carrollton, GA) started for the Georgia Jackets 15U going the first three innings. He surrendered zero hits and zero runs in his work. He was able to strike out three opponents on the hill. Tyler Calvert (2016, Braselton, GA) finished the last four innings with striking out six batters on his fastball that maxed out at 81 mph.
The Jackets got two extra base hits in the game by Javier Valdes (2016, Miami, FL), a triple, and Jason Rooks (2017, Marietta, GA), a double. Valdes was also able to drive in the only RBI of the game. Lawson Hill (2017, Canton, GA) and Lee Kay (2017, Franklin, GA)went a perfect 1-1 with a single and a run. Christian Griffin (2015, Griffin, GA) started and tossed the complete game for the GBSA White Sox. He gave up two runs but none were earned. He surrendered one hit and struck out nine batters. He topped out at 80 mph and averaged from 74 to 78 mph.
Isreal Zachery (2015, Conyers, GA) scored the first run of the game in the second inning on a solo homer. Caleb Upshaw (2017, Newnan, GA) went 1-2 with a walk, a RBI, and a run. Myles Broughton (2016, Lilburn, GA) tacked on a hit of his own with a double.

The Tennessee Twisters 16u used a three run 4th to overcome a 2-0 defecit to beat the 16u East Cobb Rockies 3-2.
Brandon Willingham (2016, Boyd Buchanan HS, TN) provided all three runs for the Tennessee Twister when he delivered a bases clearing triple in the bottom of the 4th. Cameron McCoy, (2016, Lincoln County HS, TN) sealed the victory for the Twisters on the mound by throwing a complete game and holding the 16u East Cobb Rockies scoreless after they scored two runs in the 2nd. McCoy finished the game with six strikeouts.

Team Elite Yankees South and the North Bulldogs tied 8-8 in their second game of the tournament.
The Yankees were led on offense by Parker Roach who was 3-4 with a home run, a triple, 2 runs, and an RBI. He showed a sour hitting approach and raw power. Hayes Roach also had a good game going 2-3 with an RBI and a walk. Will Shumans was 2-3 with a triple, a double, 3 RBIs, and a run scored.
Austin Garret threw 2.1 innings in relief for the Yankees not allowing a single run and picking up 2 K's. His fastball was 74-78 mph. Tanner Ritchie used an 81-85 mph fastball and showed a late breaking curveball and good command.

Allen received offensive support from Jose Ciccarrello, (2017, Alonso HS, FL) who went 1-3 with a double, a run scored and a RBI.
Team Demarini GA 16u Black was led offensively by Austin Willkerson, (2015, Chattahoochee HS, GA) who went 1-3 and drove in his team's only run. Steven Curry, (2016, Milton HS, GA) went 1-3 with a double for Team Demarini.

643 DP Baseball- Mang used an early lead, due in large part to a five run 3rd, to push past A's Elite for a 9-1 victory.
Colin Dore, (2016, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA), was the offensive leader for 643 DP Baseball- Mang going 2-3 with a double and triple, a walk, three runs scored and three RBIs. Dore showed power potential with a fluid stroke and excellent bat speed. Tyler Shields, (2015, Woodstock HS, GA) turned in an equally offensive performance going 2-3 with a double and triple as well, one run scored, two RBIs and a walk. Nick Suter, (2015, Lassiter HS, GA) also contributed offensively with two hits and two runs scored.
Starting pitcher Logan Mikell, (2016, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS), helped his team on the mound by throwing a complete game allowing one run on four hits while striking out 10. Mikell was around the plate with all of his pitches attacking hitters and throwing strikes.
Cameron Irvine, (2016, Florida Christian HS, FL), led the offense for A's Elite going 2-3 with a double and a run scored. Brandon Falcon, (2018, G. Holmes Braddock HS, FL) also had two hits in the game for A's Elite.

The Home Plate Chilidogs 16u Bedrosian/Childs used a 4 run 5th to push past 459 South for a 7-3 victory in the 16u East Cobb Invitational.
The Chilidogs were led by Cole Jackson, (2016, Sandy Creek HS, GA), who went 2-3 with two doubles and a run scored. Lorenzo Raglin, (2016, Westlake HS, GA) also turned in a good game offensively going 1-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Jenard Morris, (2017, Cedar Grove HS, GA), a Kennesaw State commit, collected two hits, scored a run an drove in two RBIs.
The Chilidogs received a strong start from Chase Walter, (2016, Mcintosh HS, GA). Walter delivered five strong innings giving up no runs and two hits while striking out five. Walter used a smooth, balanced delivery to effectively pitch around the plate and throw strikes.
Seth Hartley, (2016, Bessemer Academy HS, AL), had a productive game offensively for 459 South going 2-2 with a run scored. Brandon Oglesby, (2016, McAdory HS, AL) also contributed offensively getting a hit in one trip to the plate, drove in a run and scored a run.

Team Elite Roadrunners shutout TigerTown K2Pro 8-0 after a huge game from Trey Cabbage.
Cabbage was the star of the game going 2-3 with 2 home runs, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Garrett Hodges also had a nice game going 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Cole Zabowski added a double and 2 runs to the Roadrunners offense.
The Roadrunners used 6 different pitchers each throwing one inning in the game. Jonathen Gettys started on the mound and he was able to pick up two strikeouts. He flashed an impressive 90-92 mph fastball. Sawyer Steele used a 84-85 mph fastball in his one inning of work. No runs were scored off any Roadrunners pitchers.

The Astros were led on offense by John Devine and Daniel Seres. Devine was 2-3 with a double, 2 runs, and an RBI. Seres was 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and a run scored. He showed a sound hitting approach and a quick bat.
On the mound, Matthew Cole was dominant for the Astros going 4 innings, with no run, no hits, and 9 strikeouts. He showed a smooth delivery, projectable stuff, and good command of his 84-87 mph fastball. Cole was relieved by Cameron Hearn who threw 3 innings picking up 5 K's while not allowing a run. Hearn attacked hitters with a good curveball an a 78-83 mph fastball.

The Hoover Baseball Club scored two runs in the top of the 7th to extend their 3-2 lead to 5-2 and held off a late rally to beat the East Cobb Padres 16's 5-3.
Brandon Agsalud, (2017, Hoover HS, AL), led the Hoover Baseball Club offensively going 3-4 and scored two runs. Tyler Williams, (2017, Hoover HS, AL) also turned in a good performance going 2-3 driving in two runs. Braylon Moss, (2017, Hoover HS, AL) also collected two hits, including a triple and also tallied a RBI.
Brock Guffey, (2017, Hoover HS, AL) tossed a complete game for The Hoover Baseball Club allowing three runs on six hits and tallied seven strikeouts. Guffey showed quick arm action on the mound.
Wilson Boyette, (2015, Pope HS, GA), had a solid game at the plate going 3-3, including a double and a run scored. Cole Morgan was the star on offense going 2-2 with a double, a run, and 2 walks. Trey Hinton was 1-3 with a triple and an RBI. Zach Cardwell was 1-2 with a run and an RBI.
Trey Hinton started for The Stars throwing one inning and picking up a strikeout. His fastball sat at 78-82 mph. He was relieved by Steven Black who threw the final 6 innings of the game giving up just one run and collecting 3 strikeouts.

Team Elite South 16's get on top of Renegades early but can't hang on in 3-2 loss. Team Elite South 16's jumped out to an early lead, but could not hold on. Zack Tong and Brennan Crooms was hot today for the Team Elite South 16's. Tong went 1-2 for the day and scored one run. Crooms went 2-3 for the day, scored one run and had one RBI. John Zinobile and Jesse McCoy was hot today for the Renegades. Zinobile went 1-2 for the day and scored one run. McCoy went 1-3 for the day and had one RBI.
Pitching was pretty solid for both teams today. The two starter for both teams pitched lights out for most of the game. Evan Crystal pitched six innings worth for Team Elite South 16's. He gave up for the day two hits, one walk, and five strikeouts. Terry Seaton for the Renegades pitched a solid six innings worth while giving up six hits, two runs, two walks and four strikeouts. Brennan Harper was the winning pitching for the Renegades. He pitched one inning of work. Jerry Dyess took the loss today for his team. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.

The East Cobb Astros 15U defeated the Frozen Ropes 13-0 in an impressive team effort.
Brady Scott started on the mound for the Astros throwing 4 innings giving up just one hit and one unearned run. He was aggressive with his fastball, showed good command, and used a high 3/4 arm angle. His fastball sat 82-86 and he was able to collect 6 strikeouts.
Davis Schwartz had a big offensive day for the Astros going 1-1 with a triple, 3 RBI, 2 runs, a stolen base, and a walk. Wesley Brooks contributed with a double, 4 RBI, and a run. Colin Hall was 1-2 with a double, 2 RBI, and a walk.
Hunter Guess had the lone hit, which was a triple for the Frozen Ropes, and he was able to score.

East Cobb Patriots-16 cruises past Nelson Baseball School 16s, 10-4 victory. Gabe Davenport racked up two RBI's on two hits for East Cobb Patriots-16. Seth Robinson went 2-4 for the day and scored two runs. The Patriots bats came alive today as they racked up five hits on ten runs. Also they put up four runs in the fourth inning to help put the game away.
Cory Linz looked really good on the mound today. Corey held Nelson Baseball School 16's hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three. First inning rally sparks blowout win for Team Easton 16u, 16-1. Garrett Chandler went 2-2 for the day with racking up three runs, and one RBI. Griffin Walker went 1-2 for the day with scoring two runs. Brandon McCall went perfect today with going 1-1. There was a lot of offense by the Team Easton 16u.
Joe McCurry III was on the mound for his team. Dodgers only managed three hits, also he did not allow any earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his four innings of work. Brandon McCall ended up on the wrong side of the decision today. He allowed eleven runs in three innings, walked five and struck out four.

D3 stingers defeats the Atlanta Dodgers 16u after late game ground out, 11-6. Jeremiah Sims racked up two RBI's on three hits today for the D3 Stingers. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings. Jamari Johnson had two extra-base hits for the Atlanta Dodgers 16U. He doubled in the third and fourth innings.
Chris Derrick got the win today for his team. He allowed four runs over three innings. Also struck out six, walked one and surrendered three hits. Quindarius Johnson took the loss today. He allowed eleven runs in six innings, walked three and struck out five. Both pitchers today pitched really well.

Washington went 1-3 for the day and scored one run. Dunlap went 1-2 for the day while scoring one run and racking up one RBI. Team Elite Black had one solid hitter today, Jonah Crocker. Crocker went 1-2 for the day and had one walk.

Bell showed good extension, raw power and a live bat. The bats kept on swinging as 2016 Drew Webb (Brookstone, GA) went 2-3 with a double, 2016 Davis Daniel (St. James, AL) went 1-2 with a double and 2017 Stephen Cullen (AL) added a double. Webb showed a fluid stroke, good bat speed and a good eye.
2016 Baker Weldon (Alabama Christian Academy, AL) went 1-1 with 2 RBI's and a double for the Elite while 2016 Troy Weatherly (Jefferson Davis, AL) went 1-1 with an RBI and 2016 J. Jacob Jones was perfect today for the East Cobb Braves 16 as he went 2-2 for the day. Anthony Milton was lone hot hitter today for Scorpions. Milton went 1-2 for the day and scored one run.
Chase Solesky for the East Cobb Braves 16 got the win today as he pitched over two innings with only giving up one run. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered three hits for the day. Ryan Hagen was on the other side of the decision for the day. Hagen lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs. Solesky's fastball range for the day was 80-84 mph for the day.

Sixth-inning rally sparks blowout win for Georgia Jackets 15u national 8-1 victory. The team from Georgia today had field day with hitting especially in the sixth inning when they had five-run rally. The Jackets scored a lot runs in the sixth with a RBI double by Jack Gersten, a two run single by Ben Spencer, and a two-run double by Thomas McGee. Shane Wittsey was lone hot hitter for the day. Wiltsey went 1-3 for the day and scored one run.
Sean Connelly worked out of tough inning for the Georgia Jackets 15u National. Connellly pitched a solid six innings and allowed one earned run on five hits. Miles Dutton was on the other side of the decision for the day. Dutton allowed seven runs in three innings of work, walked two and struck out two.
Connelly's fastball range today was 77-81, with topping out at 81 mph.

Excel Blue Wave scored in the fifth off a walk by Carter St. John, three-run double by Tyler Letson and an RBI single by Alan Smith. Tyler racked up four RBI's on three hits for the Excel Blue Wave. Alex Andronica for Team Elite Alpharetta wa the hot bat for the team today. Andronica went 1-2 for the day and racked up two RBI's.

2 Team Elite Prime pitchers team up for no-hitter in 13-0 victory over Players Edge. Today was a big day for the pitchers, two guys for the Team Elite Prime combined for a no hitter today. Team Elite Prime had their big inning in the first. Team Elite Prime scored ten runs. Cole Halfacre had an RBI single , Logan Irvine had three-run double, and an RBI single by Jonathan Jahn. Hankins had five RBI's on three hits for the day.
Pitching was outstanding today for the Team Elite Prime as the two pitchers produce a no-hitter today. Mason McWhorter and Joseph Mancuso tallied six strikeouts and walked two in completing the no-no. When the Joseph on the bump, he held the Players Edge hittless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three. Ryan Powers for the other team, lasted just two-thirds of an inning on the hill for his team. Ryan gave up seven hits and ten runs total. The Rawlings Elite Rebels defeated TigerTown K2Pro 5-1 as a couple of their players really stepped up big time.
Hunter White (2016, Whitewater, GA) relieved the Rebels starting pitcher in the second inning and went on to finish the game. Over those six innings of winning work, he gave up only one hit and three walks. White struck out five batters and saw his fastball top out at 82 mph.
Cleanup hitter JD Norred (2016, Whitewater, GA) had the big hit in this game, a deep 3-run homer to left field in the bottom of the fifth inning. Also having a nice day for the Rebels was Cole Evans (2016, Starrs Mill, GA), he went 2 for 2 with a run scored, a run batted in, and a walk.

Hunter Bauman (2016, Forsyth Central HS, GA) went 3-3 for the Thunder with a triple and two RBIs. Zack Hermann (2016, Pickens County HS, GA) went 1-2 at the plate with a run scored and also two stolen bases. On the mound, Akshay Muralisrinivasan (2015, South Forsyth HS, GA) pitched six innings of work, striking out five batters and only one walk. he showed an ability to pitch out of trouble, and had a fastball that averaged 75-77/78 mph, while also mixing in a slider and a changeup.

Noah Satterwhite (2016, Ocoee HS, FL) was a spark in the Predators offense going 2-3 with two doubles, a run scored, and two RBIs. Ruben Saldana (2016, Dr. Phillips HS, FL) also helped in the production going 2-3 as well, with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI in the game. Henry Santiago (2017, University HS, FL) pitched 2.1 innings of work flashing a very impressive fastball that peaked at 86 mph and averaged 81-84 mph.

Blue Collar Baseball defeated Game Ready Athletics- 16's 7-6 on the second day of action. Blue Collar was able to plate three runs in the first and the fourth inning. The Athletics bounced back scoring four runs in the fourth inning, but fell short at the end.
Wyatt Walden led the Blue Collar offense going 1-1 at the plate with two runs scored, two RBIs, and a drawn walk in the contest. Jacob Blubaugh (2016, Ola HS, GA) pitched 4.2 innings, striking out four and flashing a fastball that averaged 71-73/74 mph while also mixing in a handful of off-speed pitches.

Mitchell Mikes (2016, J.L. Mann HS, SC) pitched six innings of work, striking out nine and allowing no earned runs. He had a variety of pitches in his arsenal, with a fastball that averaged 78-80/81 mph, while also effectively mixing in curveballs and changeups. Jacob Oaks (2016, Southside Christian Schools, SC) pitched an inning, while notably showing off a fastball that topped at 86 mph. Chris Thompson (2016, J.L. Mann HS, SC) led the way for the offense going 2-3 with a run scored and an RBI and one stolen base.

Naturals Baseball (Chambliss) prevailed 5-3 over the Scorpions Panhandle-2016 in six innings after a weather delay. Five different players registered the five team hits for the Naturals, with two of those hits coming in the bottom of the sixth which proved to be the difference in the ball game.
Christian Stelling (2016, Windsor HS, MO) takes home the win for the Naturals after going the distance on the mound. Stelling allowed three hits and three runs, one earned, while walking three and striking out nine using a four-pitch rotation with a fastball averaging 74 mph and topping out at 79 mph.
Dylan Carson (2016, Lincoln HS, FL) is credited with the loss for the Scorpions after his three innings to end the game. A first inning sac fly wound up being all the offense in a pitchers duel between the Excel Blue Sox and Tennessee Dores, with the Blue Sox coming out on top.
Banks Woodley (2016, Jemison HS, AL) of the Excel Blue Sox threw a seven inning, complete game shut out with only two hits surrended to the Tennessee Dores. He threw fastballs 74 of 76 pitches, sitting in the 76-79 range with a peak of 80 mph. Matthew Durant (2015, Pell City HS, AL) scored the only run of the game, and he also doubled, walked, and stole a base. Lucas Bryant (2015, Fort Payne HS, AL) picked up the RBI on a sac fly to score Durant in the first inning.
Tennessee Dores pitcher Brandon Bennett (2016, Montgomery Bell Academy, TN) touched 82 mph in his two innings of work, sitting in the 77-80 mph range with his fastball and a mid 60's hook. The Georgia Aces rolled to a 5-0 victory over the East Cobb Padres to move into a tie for first place in the Pool L standings. The Aces had six different players register their six team hits and were led at the plate by Chase Martin (2016, North Cobb HS, GA) who went 1-3 with that hit being a home run. Martin also picked up two RBIs and a run scored. The Padres were only able to manage two hits and four quality at bats.
Brad Weeks (2015, Hillgrove HS, GA) took home the win for the Georgia Aces after his five innings of scoreless work on the mound. Weeks allowed two hits with no walks and six strikeouts with a fastball averaging 77 mph and topping out at 80 mph.

Evan Rowlinson (2015, Alpharetta HS, GA) started the game and pitched the first 2.1 innings to earn the win. Rowlinson struck out 3 batters featuring a fastball that averaged a velocity of 78-82 mph, but reached a maximum of 88 mph. He was followed by Luke Corbin (2016, Woodward Academy HS, GA), who pitched 1 inning in relief and struck out 2 of the 3 batters he faced. Corbin threw his fastball 79-82 mph and topped out at 83 mph. Christian Ryder (2016, North Paulding HS, GA) finished the game for the Roadrunners and struck out 3 batters. Ryder threw his fastball 85-86 mph and reached a maximum velocity of 88 mph.
At the plate the Roadrunners were led by lead-off hitter, and 2014 Underclass High Honorable Mention, Cobie Vance (2015, Pine Forest HS, NC). Team Elite Alpharetta was led by Zach Graveno (2016, Lambert HS, GA), who finished the game 2-4 with a double, triple, 1 run scored and 2 RBI. Caston McDonald (2016, South Forsyth HS, GA) was also 2-4 with a double, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI. Austin Jeter (2016, The Lovett School HS, GA) also contributed 2 hits for the winners.
Hunter Furlong (2016, Lambert HS, GA) pitched a complete game for Team Elite Alpharetta to earn the victory. Furlong allowed only 4 hits and 1 unearned run, while striking out 9 over his 7 innings of work. His fastball averaged a velocity of 77-79 mph and reached 82 mph by the end of his outing.

Astros take care of Stingers in 9-0 shut out

The Astros rode the bats of Brock Anderson (2016, Sparkman HS, AL) and Garrett Dupuis (2016, Blessed Trinity Catholic HS, GA) who drove in three runs a piece. Five runs in the first followed by four more in the second inning put the game out of reach for the Stingers. Anderson launched a home run for his only hit of the day, and Dupuis smacked a pair of singles. Anderson made very hard contact and the ball jumps off his bat, coming from a slightly closed, upright stance. He's got a quick bat with good bat speed and a sound hitting approach.
On the mound Saul Forman (2015, The Westminster School, GA) struck out two batters per inning, racking up eight in four frames with no walks, no runs and three hits allowed. He utilized his late breaking 11/5 or 1/7 curve ball, and a 79-83 mph heater that topped out at 84 mph.
Jeremiah Sims (2016, Bradley HS, TN) was the offense for the D3 Stingers with raw power from large frame that helped him go 2-2 with a double.
Excel Blue Wave win 8-0 behind strong pitching

The Excel Blue Wave won 8-0 on Thursday over the East Cobb Black Knights behind the strong pitching performances of Cole Whitman and Bryant Garrett. Whitman started the game and pitched 5 complete innings allowing only 1 hit and striking out 9 total batters to earn the win. His strong arm was only display as he threw an 81-85 mph fastball that reached a maximum velocity of 86 mph. Garrett worked the final inning of the game and touched 81 mph with his fastball.
Offensively, William Dodd and Alan Smith both finished 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Smith also had a double and a triple for the winners, and Dodd contributed a triple as well. Sonny Potter was also 1-3 with 2 RBI and a triple.
Alex Rafeedie and Anthony Porter had the lone hits for the East Cobb Black Knights.
Rays Elite Rally, Take 5-1 Victory

The Rays Elite rallied in the bottom of the sixth, scoring five runs after a pitching rotation to take a 5-1 win over Team Elite Black. After being held hitless for the first five innings of the game, the offense took off, being led by Baker Weldon (2016, Alabama Christian Academy, AL). Weldon notched his first hit of the game with the bases loaded, picking up two RBIs with his hard ground ball out to center field to go with a stolen base, a run scored and a walk.
Cody Herring (2016, Wetumpka HS, AL) takes home the win for the Rays for his six and a third innings on the mound. Herring allowed two hits and one unearned run while walking two and striking out seven before being relieved in the final inning. Herring's fastball averaged 82 mph and topped out at 83 mph and was able to find the strike zone on more than 76 percent of his pitches.
Andrew Shultz (2016, Greater Atlanta Christian HS, GA) did the majority of the pitching work for Team Elite Black. Shultz tossed five and a third innings of hitless baseball with one earned run while walking four and striking out nine. Shultz had a fastball that averaged 83 mph and topped out at 87 mph before being relieved in the sixth by losing pitcher Shane Smith (2016, Hebron Christian Academy, GA). Smith allowed four hits and four runs, three earned, while walking one and striking out two in his two-thirds innings on the mound.

The Alabama Baseball Academy scored five runs in the bottom of the third and didn't look back as they cruised to a 8-0 over Frozen Ropes in five innings. The Academy needed only five hits and were able to take advantage of six walks to take command of the game early and were led on offense by Heath Haskins (2016, Thompson HS, AL) and Riley Reach (2016, Thompson HS, AL). Haskins went 2-3 at the plate with two RBIs, two runs scored, and the games only multiple-base hit with a double in the bottom of the first. Frozen Ropes couldn't get the offense started, only registering two total hits for the team.
John Goolsby (2016, Thompson HS, AL) takes home the win for Alabama Baseball Academy after tossing five innings of scoreless baseball. Goolsby allowed two hits with no walks and five strikeouts while hitting the strike zone on 96.4 percent of his pitches.
Jimmy Dwyer (2016, Mcintosh HS, GA) is credited with the loss for Frozen Ropes after his four innings of work on the mound. Dwyer allowed five hits and eight runs, seven earned, while walking six and striking out one.
Mavericks Outhit, Outscore Blast 8-1

The Upstate Mavericks Black powered their way to an 8-1 victory over the Louisiana Blast Baseball 16U to move into a tie for first place in the Pool G standings. The Mavericks registered eight team hits and were led at the plate by Jacob Oaks (2016, Southside Christian Schools, SC). Oaks managed a 2-3 game while notching a double, a stolen base and a run scored to offset his two fielding errors. The Mavericks were able to take advantage of five fielding errors by the Blast defense and also registered six stolen bases. The Blast offense couldn't get much going with only two players registering hits.
Richard Gregory (2016, Gaffney HS, SC) takes the win home for the Mavericks after tossing three scoreless innings before being relieved in the fourth. Gregory allowed two hits, one walk and three strikeouts. Gregory showed his high ceiling with a lively fastball averaging 81 mph while topping out at 84 mph and positive control with short, quick arm speed.
Louisiana Blast dug deep into their bull pen with little success, getting the most time from Matthew Garrett (2016, Episcopal, LA). Garrett tossed two innings and allowed three hits and three runs, one earned, while walking none and striking out one. Garrett used a three pitch rotation and showed positive, online delivery with a fastball averaging 75 mph. and topping out at 78 mph.
SEB Black Rout Indians 10-0

SEB 16U Black was able to make the most out of only six team hits, scoring multiple runs in four out of five innings and powering past the 16U East Cobb Indians 10-0 in five innings. SEB was able to take advantage of seven walks and four fielding errors committed by the Indians and turn it into first place in the Pool L standings. SEB was led on offense by Jordan Thomas (2016, MLK Jr. HS, FL) and his 2-3 day at the plate with a triple, an RBI and a run scored.
Robert Kwiatowski (2016, Mountain View HS, FL) takes home the win for SEB, starting the game out on the mound before being relieved in the third. Kwiatowski allowed two hits and no runs while walking none and striking out four with a fastball averaging 83 mph and topping out at 86 mph.
Joshua Johnson (2016, Colonial Hills HS, GA) is credited with the loss for the Indians after spending the majority of the game on the mound. Hoover Baseball Club edge out Georgia Select

The Hoover Baseball Club edged out Georgia Select 9-8 in a hard fought afternoon matchup. The bats really carried each team throughout the game but the Georgia Select was really outdone by a big 6 run fifth inning for Hoover.
Ben Abercrombie had a huge day at the dish for the Hoover Baseball Club going 3-3 with 3 runs, an RBI, and a walk. Leadoff hitter Tanner Hendrix also had a nice day going 2-4 with a run and an RBI. Michael McClung contributed with a double, 2 RBI, and a walk.
For Georgia Select, Carter had a good game going 2-2 with 2 RBI. Tristan Capocci and Ethan Billings each had a pair of hits in the ball game. Billings showed a good eye, quick bat, and power potential in his appearances at the plate.
Athletics Too Much for Predators, Win 10-2

The Game Ready Athletics-16's scored early and often, using a huge six run third inning to blow past Predators Baseball 10-2 in five innings. The Athletics had three players register at least two hits and were led at the plate by Graham. Graham went a perfect 3-3 at the plate and notching a double, two RBIs and a run scored. The Predators were led at the plate by Ruben Saldana (2016, Dr. Phillips HS, FL). Saldana went 2-2 with a run scored, but was unable to power his team past five fielding errors.
Brandon Milis (2016; McIntosh, GA) recorded the win for the Athletics for his five inning effort on the mound. Milis five hits and two earned runs while walking none and striking out one on only 40 pitches while hitting the strike zone on 82.5% of his pitches. Milis used a fastball that averaged 74 mph and topped out at 78 mph. Milis also went 2-3 at the plate, recording two RBIs and a double.
Predators Baseball couldn't get into a groove on the mound, using four pitchers that all had very little success.
Siegler gets W after impressive outing

The East Cobb Astros beat the Fat Cat Thunder 4-1 in their afternoon contest at the East Cobb Complex.
Anthony Siegler got the win on the mound for the Astros throwing 5.2 innings with just one unearned run. He was able to keep the Thunder off the bases with his 73-78 mph fastball. Jared Staples came in to earn the save with 1.1 perfect innings.
Will Banfield lead the team at the plate going 1-2 with a run, an RBI, and a walk. Jacob Cabe helped out by going 1-2 with a run and a stolen base.
Parker Biederer carried the Thunder by going 2-3 run scored. Colin Hannah and Dillion Champion also had hits for the Thunder.

The East Cobb Braves 16 beat the Bullpen Diamond Dogs 8-0 after a combined no-hitter by the pitching staff.
Patrick Martin started for the Braves going 2 innings and collecting 3 strikeouts using an 81-85 mph fastball. He was followed by James Williams who also went 2 innings while flashing an impressive 84-87 mph fastball. The final piece the the no-hitter was Ryan Wilson who threw one perfect inning and struck out one Diamond Dog batter.

Javon Russell started on the mound for the White Sox throwing just one inning while giving up no runs. He was relieved by Mason Calloway who finished out the game by throwing 6 innings and giving up one run. He used sound mechanics and a 68-72 mph fastball to pick up 4 strikeouts.
At the dish, Isreal Zachery led the team by going 2-3 with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored. Kaine Smith also contributed with 2 hits out of the fourth spot in the order.

Emory Otott started on the mound for the Astros and he threw 4 shutout innings. He utilized a smooth delivery, good command, and a 72-76 mph fastball to pick up 8 strikeouts. Davis Schwartz finished the game with one perfect inning.

Darling started on the mound for Team Elite Prime throwing 4 shutout innings and picking up 4 strikeouts. He used an 84-87 mph fastball along with a 72-78 mph slider to keep the DeMarini hitters off the bases. He was relieved by Diedrich who threw one shutout inning. He used a 83-86 mph fastball to collect 2 strikeouts.
At the plate, Cameron Hankins had a huge day going 2-3 with 2 stolen bases, a run, and an RBI. William Holland also contributed with 2 hits of his own along with a stolen base and a run scored.

Noah Mejias (2016, Oconee County HS, GA) pitched the final inning of the game, displaying a fastball that topped at 81 mph. At the plate, Brandon Marsh (2016, Buford HS, GA) and Sam Freitas (2016, Mountain View HS, GA) both went 2-3 in the game. Marsh had a run scored and an RBI, Freitas gave the same support with an RBI and run scored as well.

Mizuno Team GA's offense exploded with eight hits in the contest that ended in a five inning run rule. Leadoff hitter, Tucker Maxwell (2016, Lambert HS, GA) went 1-2 at the plate with a homerun, an RBI and one run scored. Excel Blue Wave 15U scored their lone run in the 3rd inning, and luckily it was enough to put them past the Tennessee Twisters 16U 1-0.

Bigstix gamers knocked down 5 runs in the first inning to set the tone for their 10-1 victory over A's Elite.
#13 went 1-3 with a 3-run homer and #9 went 2-3 with an RBI. #21 went 2-2 with 2 RBI's and a double, #37 went 1-2 with an RBI and a double and #17 went 2-2 with an RBI and a double as well for the Gamers.
#33 went 1-2 with an RBI and a double while batting, but he also pitched 2 innings, striking out 3 batters and peaking his fastball at 84mph. He showed solid arm action and was around the plate with all pitches. #40 also pitched an inning for the Gamers, allowing no hits and no runs while his fastball topped out at 81mph. He showed good command, can throw strikes, and uses his lower half to pitch.
For A's Elite, 2016 Cameron Irvine (Florida Christian, FL) went 1-2 with an RBI.

Knoxville Stars 16U came out swinging as they defeated 31 Sports Academy 16U 6-0.
2016 Peyton Alford (Powell, TN) proved his skills while at bat and on the mound. He went 1-2 with an RBI and pitched 6 innings for the Stars as well. He allowed 3 hits with no runs while striking out 5 batters. His fastball peaked at 78mph. Alford showed good command and was around the plate with all pitches. He has a quick arm and keeps hitters off balance.
2016 Trey Hinton (Christian Academy, TN) pitched the remaining inning for the Stars, allowing no hits and no runs while peaking his fastball at an impressive 83mph. Hinton showed long, loose arm action and a straight fastball.

Renegades get on top early in the game, but MBA Pride Elite take the game with 9-2 victory. Renegdes jumped out to an early lead, but couldn't hold on to it. Alex Sanchez for the MBA Pride Elite was the hot bat today with going 1-3 for the day and scoring two runs. For the Renegades, Brennan Harper was the hot batter today for his team. Harper went 1-3 for the day and scored one run.
Pitching was pretty solid for the day for MBA Pride Elite, Brady Greene was the winning pitcher for his team. Greene pitched a solid six innings with giving up one hit, two runs, one walk and striking out five for the day. Jared Knight was on the other side of the decision today. Knight pitched 4.1 innings while giving up five hits, six runs, three walks, and two strike outs. Knight's range on his fastball today was 79-82 with topping out at 82 mph. M. Melendez's range on his fastball today was 81-84 with topping out at 84 mph. Brady Greene's range today on his fastball was 80-86 with topping out at 86 mph.

Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy 16U Red offense too much for the Milton Eagles in 11-4 victory. Ten runs were allowed in the first three innings to help put the game away early. Joseph Macrina, Justin Washington, and Zac Slaton were the stud hitters for the day. Macrina had two RBI single, Washington had a single, and Slaton had an RBI single for the day. Milton Eagles had a lot of errors in the field for the day.
Pitching was pretty solid for the day for the Mizuno Team GA Baseball Academy. Coby Tobin got the win today for his team. Tobin only allowed one run over three innings with striking out two, walked three and gave up three hits. Ian Concevich was on the other side of the decision. He allowed eleven runs in three innings, walked three and gave up two hits.
