Andrew Brown (2023, Newtown, PA) was pretty electric during his three-innings of work on the bump, working in the mid-80’s as he paired his heater with a hellacious curveball that generated swing-and-misses. The physical right-hander used his long levers to get down the slope and create some downhill action on his fastball. Brown would finish his outing tallying six punch outs.
Antoni Kozlowski (2023, Tarrytown, NY) got the barrel out to an 86-mph fastball on the inner half and lifted it down the left-field line for a leadoff double for the Red team to kick off the bottom half of the 2nd.
Evan Schickler (2025, Nesconset, NY) plated the Red teams first run, dumping a single into right to bring home Kozlowski from third. Battling with two-strikes as he shortened up to put the ball in play and make something happen.
Shea Losino (2024, Little Ferry, NJ) continued the red teams big second inning, keeping the hit parade alive as he plated the second run of the inning shooting a grounder back up the shoot.
Will Irwin (2024, Levittown, NY) lined an RBI single through the right side of the infield as he battled through his at-bat, fighting off several tough secondary offerings. Flashing impact to the pull side, Irwin stayed on the breaking ball as he stayed through extension well. Irwin collected his second knock is his second trip to the plate, lining a single back up the middle, bringing home his teammate from second.
Alex Digiacinto (2023, Richmond Hills, ON-CAN) got the bat head out on a fastball, sending a flyball over the left-fielders head for a one-out triple in the top half of the 4th. Coming in to score just one batter later, Digiacinto would be the tying run at three-all before heading into the bottom of the 4th.
Michael Diorio (2025, Manhasset, NY) drove a liner into the right-center field gap, falling just in front of the center and right fielder who were closing in on the ball. Bringing home the runner from third, Diorio’s RBI-single gave the red team the lead again in the bottom of the 4th.
Alvin Gomez (2024, New York, NY) had himself a multi-hit game Saturday afternoon, sending a hard grounder up the middle in his first trip to the plate, getting the bat head out on an 84-mph fastball over the heart of the plate. Finding another barrel in his second trip to the plate, Gomez lined another single back up the middle, ambushing the first he saw, sparking a two-out rally for the red squad.
Michael Vilardi (2023, Massapequa, NY) grabbed an 86 mph with his heater while his two innings of work, sitting in the low-80s as he showed a dynamic fastball-slider combo that generated some whiffs throughout his outing. The athletically built right-hander tunneled from the same slot as he landed slightly towards the third base side of the mound, creating some deception against opposing hitters.
