Navy vs. Gold Game Highlights

8/25/2024

Kamron Matthews (2028 MIF, Bothell, WA) had himself a three hit day which included an line drive into left-center gap for a triple, a line drive down left-field line for a single and a line drive back up the middle. He also added two clean innings on the mound where he attacked hitters with a mid 70s fastball and a developing low 60s breaker.

Parks Eugster (2028 SS, Bothell, WA) had a two-hit day which included a line-drive single into the right-center gap and a LD triple down RF line. Keeps it real simple with the lower half and shows present quickness to the hands that deliver and out-front and accurate barrel.

Dillon Prouser (2028 RHP, Sherwood, OR) pitched two quality innings where he showed a mid-70s FB and quality SL. Also found a barrel at the plate where he hit a hard GB back up the box for a single.

Sam Perrotti (2029 RHP, Maple Valley, WA) struck out four in his two innings of work where he showed some deception to his delivery, hiding it a bit before release. Also added a line drive knock into left at the plate.

Jordan Thomas (2029 OF, Vancouver, WA) found a quality line drive barrel up the middle. Simple swing operation where the barrel gets thrown on a flatter path through with a level finish.

Karson Barnes (2028 2B, Renton, WA) pounded the strike-zone with his clean/repeatable delivery. Used a low 70s FB and showed decent spin for a slower/developing breaker (~2200 RPMs). Induced a ton of weak contact.

Lincoln Barnes (2028 1B, Silverdale, WA) had himself a quality LD single back up the box. Physical in the box where his hands/barrel work down-and-through the baseball with some decent bat speed.

10-Navy vs 9-Gold Game Highlights

8/25/2024

Dylan Johnson (2028 RHP, Olympia, WA) got the start on the bump for 10-Navy.  Went two innings, allowing one hit, no runs and struck out four.  Barreled up a triple in to the wall in the 4th.

Landen Pratt (2028 LHP, Hood River, OR) collected the first hit of the game with a back side base knock in the 2nd. Caught his second barrel of the game to the pull side in the 4th.  Impressed out of the 'pen, going two-innings without allowing a run.  Recorded his third hit of the game with a triple in the 8th.

Beau Franks (2028 LHP, Snoqualmie, WA) took the ball on the mound for 9-Gold, going two-innings, allowing one hit and no runs.

Jonah Vitcovich (2028 OF, Gig Harbor, WA) barreled one up in the 2nd to center field on a line for a base knock for the first hit of the day for 9-Gold.  Picked up his second hit of the ballgame in the 3rd to score the games first run.

Jaedin Jangala (2027 C, Bend, OR) had a loud barrel, on a line to the pull side for 10-Navy in the 3rd inning and came around to score later in the inning.

Aedan Stanek (2028 RHP, Issaquah, WA) Went to the pull side in the fourth for a stand up Double to knock in a run for 10-Navy.

Beck Robertson (2029 C, Redmond, WA) barreled up a ball back up the middle for 9-Gold.  Stayed short to the ball and smoked a line drive right back where it came from.

Hank Harkins (2028 C, Kennewick, WA) had a nice approach with two strikes, staying back and going the other way on a line for a base knock for 10-Navy.

Batting Practice Highlights

8/24/2024

Karson Barnes (2028 2B, Renton, WA) showed quality bat speed within a compact swing that works on a level path. Used the whole field and produced quality liners throughout the field.

Beau Franks (2028 LHP, Snoqualmie, WA) showed a smooth/easy LH stroke where the barrel works on a on-plane path that works with good length and produced more hard contact than not throughout his round.

Samuel Hoda (2028 RHP, Salem, OR) showed a simple stroke that produced some quality middle of the field barrels. Used a rhythmic toe tap trigger where his hands throw the barrel on a direct path with a level finish.

Skyler Levine (2028 SS, Redmond, WA) had one of the more impressive swings of the group where the hands/barrel stay connected and turn the barrel on a clean path that stays with length through the zone. Used the whole field throughout his round. Showed quality balance and leverage with lower half.

Landen Pratt (2028 LHP, Hood River, OR) displayed a balanced stroke where the barrel works more direct with a level finish. Produced several hard LDs/FBs through the middle of the field.

Lincoln Barnes (2028 1B, Silverdale, WA) swung it with some out front intent during his round. Noticeable adv. bat/hand speed for his level. Barrel worked on a more direct path with a high finish. Produced plenty of pullside LDs during his round.

Cruz Palepoi (2028 OF, Seattle, WA) flashed some quality impact during his round. A good amount of moving parts to the swing but showed quality bat speed and strength at impact that produced several hard shots through the middle of the field.

Cody Moore (2029 C, Anchorage, AK) showed off some adv. bat speed for his level that translated to some loud impact when everything was synced up.

Jonah Vitcovich (2028 OF, Gig Harbor, WA) displayed some present hand strength and speed that helped him produced some hard contact. Turns the barrel on a slight uphill path with mostly out front intent where he produced quality FBs to the LC gap.

Dylan Johnson (2028 RHP, Olympia, WA) barreled a ton of baseballs during his round into both gaps. Used a simple/rhythmic stroke that showed some adv. bat speed and some present barrel accuracy.

Aedan Stanek (2028 RHP, Issaquah, WA) had himself a barrel filled round. Was consistently out front and on barrel with a path that worked more direct with a level finish that displayed above avg. bat speed.
