8-White vs 5-Columbia Blue Game Highlights

Tyler Zizza (2028 C, Islip, NY) wasted no time getting himself on the stat sheet, roping a double to deep CF in the bottom of the 2nd inning with clear strength in the hands displayed.

Ryan Audette (2027 RHP, Long Island, NY) had one of the louder barrels of the day, smoking a standup double to the left centerfield in the bottom of the 3rd with evident carry and backspin generated on the baseball.

Ben Sinsabaugh (2027 RHP, Port Jervis, NY) took home the top velocity of the day on the mound, running his FB up to 85 mph with clear heaviness present. The intimidating and physically advanced 6-foot-5, 210 pound righty pounded the zone at a 72% clip with developing feel for spin in the arsenal.

Matthew Baczor (2027 OF, Lebanon, NJ) rocketed an RBI double into the left centerfield gap in the top of the 5th, showcasing effortless bat speed through the zone with the ability to generate impact out in front.

Evan Fallon (2027 OF, Miller Place, NY) was yet another name who found the left centerfield gap for extra bases, showcasing a direct path to the baseball while maximizing the strength in the 5-foot-11, 160 pound frame.

Gabe Sikora (2028 RHP, Manorville, NY) picked up a clutch two-strike single in the bottom of the 7th inning, driving in an RBI with a knock to LF. The righty flashed the ability to shorten up and put the ball in play with line drive tendencies in the stroke.

Phileep Nowakowski (2028 C, New York, NY) worked a 12 pitch AB to end his day in the top of the 8th, finishing with a smoked ground rule double to dead CF. The athletic 5-foot-10, 150 pound prospect provided value on both sides of the field all weekend and consistently performed for his squad in game.


6-Green vs 7-Maroon Game Highlights

Aidan Mesquita (2027 RHP, North Haven, CT) put together two dominant innings of work, striking out five batters while failing to allow a hit. The 5-foot-11 right-hander pounded the strike zone with his fastball, running it up to 78 mph. He paired the heater with a slurvy breaking ball that induced several swings and misses.

 

Gavin Forlai (2028 2B, Wayne, NJ) tossed a couple of quality innings with three strikeouts. The 5-foot-8 right-hander went after hitters early and often with his fastball, which ultimately peaked at 80 mph. He also showed impressive feel for spinning his low-70s slider, which earned whiffs both early and late in counts.

 

Matthew Clarke (2027 C, Cheshire, CT) turned in two hitless innings with three punchouts. The 5-foot-9 right-hander kept his fastball in the 80-81 mph range throughout, locating it well on both sides of the plate. He also landed his slurvy breaking ball for swings and misses late in counts. Clarke also added a base knock through the left-side and a stolen base in the eighth inning.

 

Hudson Farnkopf (2027 3B, Spring Lake, NJ) got every bit of a two-strike fastball in the sixth inning, carrying it into deep centerfield for a triple. The 6-foot-1 right-handed batter delivers the barrel both on-plane and on-time, impacting the baseball with easy strength from gap to gap.

 

Salvatore Damiano (2028 2B, Morganville, NJ) put a nice swing on a fastball, driving it into the right-center gap for a two-RBI triple. The 5-foot-8 left-handed hitter remains synced-up in the box, frequently generating carry and backspin at the point of contact.

 

Cruz Febbie (2028 OF, Londonderry, VT) impressed on both sides of the ball, adding a base hit through the left-side and following it up with a diving play in centerfield. He displayed consistent barrel skills to the pull-side with plenty of range and athleticism in the field.

 

Cameron DiGiacomo (2027 LHP, Naugatuck, CT) turned on a first-pitch fastball in the ninth inning, driving it down the left field line for an RBI double. The right-handed hitter showcased an aggressive approach at the plate with a nifty ability to manipulate the barrel in and around the strike zone.

Ben Sinsabaugh (2027 RHP, Port Jervis, NY) unloaded on a 2-0 fastball in the fourth inning, launching it over the centerfield fence for a solo home run. The 6-foot-5 210-pound righty has tons of strength in the hands and barrel. He generates loud impact with effortless carry to both gaps, and can leave the yard in any count.

 

Lucas Gonzalez (2027 C, Naugatuck, CT) added a couple of knocks and two stolen bases in live action. The 5-foot-9 righty showed off his versatility, impressing with both his bat-to-ball skills and base-running ability. He controls the barrel well throughout the zone and finds it at a high rate.

 

Collin Joy (2027 RHP, Yaphank, NY) pieced up a first-pitch fastball in the sixth inning, lining it into the left-center gap for a leadoff double. The 6-foot right-handed hitter delivers a strong and on-plane barrel at the point of contact. He impacts the baseball with easy strength and creates carry to both gaps.

 

Phileep Nowakowski (2028 C, New York, NY) flashed the leather at shortstop, making an impressive diving play to his right-side. He picked it cleanly with his backhand before delivering a strong and accurate throw across the diamond.

 

Samuel Huckans (2028 SS, Amsterdam, NY) found a barrel on a two-strike fastball, pulling it to left field for an RBI double. The right-handed batter displayed impressive bat-to-ball skills with good adjustability around the strike zone.

 

Aiden Krasnow (2028 RHP, Livingston, NJ) put together an impressive outing on the mound, striking out four over two hitless innings of work. The 5-foot-11 right-hander went right after hitters with his fastball, inducing several swings and misses with it while running it up to 78 mph. He also showed feel for spinning his mid-60s breaking ball which successfully mistimed opposing hitters.

 

Matthew Baczor (2027 OF, Lebanon, NJ) put together two hitless innings out of the bullpen, striking out three batters. The 5-foot-10 right-hander filled up all parts of the strike zone with his fastball, which induced weak contact and ultimately peaked at 79 mph. He also landed a slurvy breaker for strikes late in counts.


Batting Practice Highlights

Joseph Scarnecchia (2027 LHP, Ramsey, NJ) put together a consistent round of batting practice, spraying well-struck line drives to all parts of the field. The left-handed batter stays synced-up in the box and maintains posture over the baseball. He impacts it with good strength to the middle of the field on a frequent basis.

 

Gabe Sikora (2028 RHP, Manorville, NY) remains loose in the box, delivering a strong and level barrel at impact. The 5-foot-8 righty repeats his operation well, staying over the baseball while maintain strength through contact. He showcased a consistent barrel to the middle of the field.

 

Charles Emma (2028 SS, Verona, NJ) showcased some impressive bat speed while producing consistent contact to the pull-side. The 5-foot-8 lefty impacts the baseball with good strength out in front, where he often generates backspin and carry at the point of contact.

 

Jack LaGrange (2028 RHP, Bay Shore, NY) created consistent leverage out in front, spraying multiple live drives to the pull-side. The 5-foot-8 left-handed hitter showcased plenty of present strength in the hands with an impressive ability to control the barrel throughout the zone.

 

Andres Guedez (2028 2B, Rye, NY) found the barrel on a consistent basis during his batting practice round, spraying several liners to the middle of the field. He delivered a strong and level barrel, creating loud contact on every swing.

 

Nate Lewis (2028 OF, Sayville, NY) impacted the baseball with easy strength, generating clean extension out in front with leverage to the pull-side. The 6-foot lefty showcased impressive barrel control with intriguing power potential.

 

Gavin Forlai (2028 2B, Wayne, NJ) found the barrel at a high rate, delivering it with tons of intent. The 5-foot-8 righty remained short to the baseball, impacting it with impressive strength to the middle of the field.

Charles Emma (2028 SS, Verona, NJ) displayed a nice piece of opposite field hitting in his first plate appearance, finding some room down the LF line for an RBI double.

Ryan Audette (2027 RHP, Long Island, NY) showcased intriguing potential on the mound during his relief appearance, tossing two innings of no run, three strikeout baseball. The still plenty projectable 5-foot-9, 145 pound righty ran his FB up 79 mph with good bite on his SL for multiple swing/misses. 

Cameron DiGiacomo (2027 LHP, Naugatuck, CT) made the most of his second plate appearance in the bottom of the 5th, rocketing an opposite field triple over the RF’s head with solid coverage of the zone.

Cruz Febbie (2028 OF, Londonderry, VT) picked up an RBI line drive single to LF in the bottom of the 6th, flashing evident barrel control with a level path displayed through the zone.

Xavier Micheli (2028 C, Massapequa Park, NY) did a nice job of working into a hitters count during his AB in the top of the 7th inning, ultimately ending in a single that found some grass in RF.

Gabe Sikora (2028 RHP, Manorville, NY) flashed a solid FB/SL combo on the mound during his appearance, tunneling pitches effectively with the SL registering at 2364 rpm. The 5-foot-8, 130 pound righty has plenty of projection remaining with a high velocity ceiling for the future. 

Jack Moriarty (2028 SS, Brick, NJ) continued the trend of opposite field hitting throughout the game, picking up a solid line drive barrel to RF in his final plate appearance.

Nicholas Lattanzio (2028 SS, Wantagh, NY) drilled a double to LF to end his day on a positive note, showcasing the ability to generate impact out in front with good barrel control to pair. 

Jack Lankowicz (2027 C, Sayville, NY) came up clutch for Columbia Blue in the top of the 9th, rocketing a two out triple to deep LF and picking up an RBI.
