15u North Scout Notes: Days 3-5

Right-handed pitcher and hitter Chase Williamson (2026, Highwood, Ill.) impressed on both sides of the ball this weekend, slamming nine hits including a triple and a double, and firing four innings of one-run ball. In the box, brought an aggressive but effective approach, swinging early in counts and punishing mistakes. Lower half generates good torque, holds back barrel before letting it whip through the zone. Kept hands inside the baseball well. Even with a physical frame at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, speed is above average. Big power potential. On the mound, used a compact delivery with a shorter arm action to attack hitters. Allowed just one hit and struck out four. Ran the fastball up to 80, sitting around 76, with a curveball that dropped in at 65. Used fastball primarily, more polish on secondary will come with experience.
