Waid was a standout this weekend in Texas. The Arkansas commit, is a physical specimen who looks to do damage in the box and play sound defense in the field. His numbers stood out in the workout portion this weekend, registering a 6.82 sixty-yard dash, 88 mph across the infield, and a 1.94 pop time from behind the dish. There is loose athleticism in the frame that has some positional versatility in his profile. His bat was loud this weekend as well, driving a deep home run to the pull side that displayed his well above average power in this 2023 class.
Davis Rivers
C - 2023 - Waller, TX
Texas Tech
Rivers was exceptional this weekend, really showing off the strength and juice in his frame. Had the second-best exit velocity of 99 mph on the weekend and the swings backed it up. Felt like he was constantly getting the barrel to the ball and connecting. He leveraged the ball during BP and really got into a groove to produce a solid round. It was not just the bat either, Rivers shined behind the plate as well. He recorded a 1.95 pop time with an efficient and quick transfer to get rid of it quickly. Shined defensively in the games this weekend as well. Lots to like from the Texas Tech Red Raiders commit.
Kade Smith

Smith had a quality weekend for his Southeast squad down in Texas the last few days. There is quality strength in his frame with room to continue to fill out for his corner infield profile. He registered throws of 90 mph from both the outfield and from across in the infield, which is well above average for the class. Also produced an exit velo of 91 mph, at the event with wood bat. He made his presence known during the game portion smashing a no doubt home-run to the pullside. Verbal commit to Arkansas.
Griffin Cameron
OF - 2023 - Lexington, KY
Kentucky
Cameron did his thing this weekend, showing off the athleticism and well-rounded tools. He finished with the second-best 60-yard dash with a 6.49 time. The Kentucky Wildcats commit swings it from the left side with strength that projects well. Showed really good swings in BP and worked out in the outfield throwing 82 mph with athletic actions working through the throws. Had a nice backside knock, staying controlled and lining one the other way for a base hit.
Tanner Wiggins
RHP - 2023 - North Richland Hills, TX

Wiggins was excellent across his three innings of work in his West squad's semifinal 1-0 victory. The athletic right-hander ran his fastball up to 92 mph early on and settled comfortably in the upper-80s, low-90s for the duration of his outing. He attacked the zone fearlessly, used all four quadrants of the strike zone effectively and showed exceptional feel for his 11-5 shaped breaker.
Hudson Hamilton

Hamilton was downright dominant in his two innings of work, as the sturdy framed right-hander ran his fastball up to 90 mph early before settling comfortably in the upper-80s. He generates easy ride and carry through the zone with raw spin rates in the 2600s, while unleashing a hellacious slider in the 2700 RPM range.
Garrett Schroeder
SS - 2023 - Dallas, TX

Schroeder had a solid weekend overall. The Texas Tech Red Raiders commit threw 87 mph from the outfield with athletic actions. He carried his momentum through the throws and was smooth. Showed off some smooth swings from the right side. Has some length in the frame and was able to barrel up the ball well. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity as well.
Sylas Boris
SS - 2023 - Greensboro, NC

Boris showcased a legitimate two-way skill set, as the athletic infielder recorded a 6.57 second sixty and a simple, repeatable stroke. He displayed consistent impact from gap-to-gap and flashed some power potential. On the mound, he ran the fastball up to 85 mph in this look and showcased the ability to really spin his more vertical breaking ball.
Trent Rice
OF - 2023 - Macomb, MI

Rice ran an event best 6.46 sixty, while showing dynamic athleticism in multiple facets throughout the event. He covers an immense amount of ground in the outfield and showcases a table-setter mentality at the plate with consistent bat-to-balls skills.

Jaimes showed consistent barrel skills throughout the weekend with several well-struck singles, and then capped it off by launching a massive pull-side bomb in the final. He's also a talented defender behind the plate with good blocking, receiving, and throwing skills.
Brock Thorndell

Midland College
Thorndell was impressive during his three innings of work versus a tough Texas lineup, as the 6-foot-2, 190-pound righty punched out five and held them scoreless. He ran his fastball up to 91 mph, while holding steady in the upper-80s throughout. He paired the fastball well with a tight, late biting breaking ball that he was able to land for strikes and generate empty swings with.
Ryan Beaty
2B - 2023 - Waller, TX
Angelina College
Beaty has plenty of tools at his disposal, with good speed and overall athleticism as well as bat speed at the plate and good defensive tools with a strong arm in the middle of the diamond. He's a well-rounded player who performed quite well in this event.
Jeremiah Arnett
RHP - 2023 - Waco, TX
Wichita State
Arnett was masterful on the mound this weekend. He delivered three strong innings, working up to 89 mph on the fastball. He was tied with a couple of others for the fourth-highest fastball velocity at 89 mph. He's spun it up to 2,325 RPMs on the fastball and was able to mix in horizontal breaking slider. His third offering was a changeup that he replicated well. He punched out 4 opposing hitters over 3 innings, keeping the opposition at bay. The Wichita State commit came out and filled up the zone. Projectable frame with room to add strength.
Tripp Schroeder
C - 2023 - Carmel, IN

Schroeder displayed huge athleticism in multiple ways throughout the event, as the durable frame d primary backstop produced an event best 1.90 second Pop Time. At the plate, he employed a relatively simple approach with consistent contact and budding strength. He culminated his weekend by jumping on the mound and running his fastball up to 86 mph
Derek Lopez

Lopez had a nice overall weekend for his Southeast team. He came to Texas with a big showing, putting up stellar numbers in the workout portion of the event. He started his day by registering a 6.60 sixty-yard dash and then continued by throwing a top bullet of 80 mph down to second base. Nice bat speed that he looks to use the large part of the field in his approach. Unique power/speed guy who had a nice showing.
Dakota Howard
OF - 2023 - Van Alstyne, TX

Howard showed some solid swings from the left side, finding ways to get the barrel to the ball and impact it. The Oklahoma Sooners commit gets the barrel to the ball quickly with intent to his actions. He's an athletic mover in the outfield, taking good routes to the ball and keeping throws on target. He ran a 6.79 60-yard dash as well, which was in the upper half of the rankings. Picked up a nice barrel up the middle with a fluid stroke to send one back up the middle.
Matthew Millett
RHP - 2024 - Grand Prairie, TX

Millett was outstanding on both sides of the ball, while showcasing his overall athleticism. He showed good lateral range and quick turns during first baseman drills, while also recording arm strength up to 85 mph across the diamond. He ran a 6.69 second sixty and showed he can handle the bat by collecting a couple hits in-game. On the mound is where he shined, as the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Texan ran his fastball up to 90 mph and showed a legitimate three-pitch mix.
Miles Ghossein

Ghossein stood out on both sides of the ball for the West team. He started by running a 7.08 60-yard dash. He had an exit velocity up to 89 mph. He's got some looseness to the barrel and was able to get on plane and repeat. He then jumped out on the mound and was up to 86 mph. An athletic mover on the mound who had a projectable fastball/curveball mix. He punched out two hitters over 1 1/3 innings of work.
Matthew Scott II

Scott has an oustanding 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame that has plenty of physicality and strength. His number were quality on the weekend posting a 6.79 sixty-yard dash along with a throw of 87 mph from the outfield. His fastball reached as high as 83 mph on the bump as well. The Oklahoma commit is a unique prospect who processes speed and power, which can be hard to come by at his size. There are real tools here that project well and this weekend was a confirmation of that.
Elbert (Trey) Craig

Craig continued to show his top-of-the class power, while displaying exciting athleticism and tons to dream on. He recorded an event best 100 mph exit velocity, ran a 6.86 sixty and produced big time arm strength up to 93 mph during drills. The aforementioned strength showed up during both batting practice and game action, as he impacts the baseball with authority often.
Drew Rayment
OF - 2024 - Spokane, WA

Rayment showcased intriguing arm talent and projection, as the 6-foot-5, 195-pound right-hander ran his fastball up to 89 mph and held steady in the 86-89 mph range throughout his outing. He showed feel for spin with the ability to manipulate both speed and shape to his breaking ball. The uncommitted 2024 Grad has immense upside that will continue to expand.
Peryn Bland

Bland is a twitchy infielder with massive amounts of lateral range, a clean glove in the middle-of-the field and offensive prowess at the plate. He can effect the game in a multitude of ways and has real feel for the barrel at the plate.

Raether had the swing of the weekend with a lead-taking grand slam in the final game, showing off the lefthanded pop he possesses. He's a solid hitter overall as well as a good athlete with twitch and arm strength behind the plate.

Mammen was really solid on the mound this weekend for the North squad. He got the start in game 1 of the game portion. Mammen is a physical athlete standing at 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-handed pitcher. His fastball is heavy in the zone, that topped at 90 mph on the day. Also featured a sharp 11/5 breaking ball that spins well with solid feel. A nice uncommitted 2024 pitcher to follow.
Drake McBride

McBride displayed immense athleticism and quick twitch in every facet of his game. the primary outfielder ran a 6.60 sixty, while showcasing the ability to cover tons of ground in the grass during game action. At the plate, it is a low effort swing with plenty of present bat speed and feel for the barrel.
Connor Chicoli

Chicoli is a tall right-handed pitcher who came out of the gates strong for the East squad. Chicoll filled up the zone while working a mid-to-upper 80’s fastball and fading arm-side change up to keep hitters off-balanced. Recorded two strikeouts over two innings on the mound. Georgia Tech commit, that has a great frame with high upside.
Carson Luna

Luna was really impressive this weekend. He's got really smooth actions defensively. Some good speed and athleticism at shortstop. Made several great plays at the position. Has a quick stroke from the right side and is able to control the barrel. Had some mature at-bats and looked comfortable in the box. The Texas Longhorns commit produced an 86 mph exit velocity.
Donovan Jordan

Jordan impressed with his overall combination of strength and athleticism throughout the event. He recorded arm strength up to 90 mph during outfield drills, ran a 6.80 second sixty and showcased legitimate power potential that translated well into game action.
Andrew Frausto

Frausto was impressive on both sides of the ball throughout the event, as the young infielder recorded arm strength up to 87 mph across the diamond. At the plate, he impacted each game by collecting big hit after big hit and showcased the ability make in-game adjustments with ease. He jumped on the mound to punctuate his appearance at the event and showcased intriguing arm talent. He ran his fastball up to 88 mph out of the 'pen with good feel for his breaking ball, and generated a ton of weak contact.

Eschief did a little of everything at the HS All-State Select Championships, as he showcased a true two-way profile with monster physical projection remaining. He recorded velocities in the upper-80s from both the infield and outfield during drills, while leading off a game with an absolute no-doubt homer. On the mound is where he may possess the most upside, as the 6-foot-6, 195-pounder ran his fastball up to 89 mph with easy carry through the zone. He mixed in two distinct breaking balls for strikes, while showing different looks and creating tons of deception.
Rocco Loffredo

Loffredo has a very projectable frame and an easy operation on the mound, with a loose arm that produced easy mid-80's fastball that has touched higher this fall along with a projectable slider that he has feel for. He's really just scratching the surface.
Jordan Lewis

Lewis should be a 2025 by age alone, but stood out with the upperclassmen as a 2024 anyways. He's a good athlete with great physicality, showing the traits to play shortstop long term along with good bat speed and power upside, and he's mid-80's on the bump as well.
Hudson Johnson

Johnson pitched quite well in this event and continues to make strides, throwing strikes in the mid-80's from the left side with good angle to the plate, tunneling a good slider with tilt out of that slot as well. He missed plenty of bats and has a strong build.

Isaacs does a lot of things well, as a lefthanded hitter with good bat speed and strength that gives him a good amount of power as well as solid athleticism that allows him to be a defensive asset in an outfield corner.
