Central (Blue) vs. California (Black) Game Highlights

8/4/2024

Eli Brum (2026 RHP, San Diego, CA) sat in the mid-80s for his three innings on the mound. He punched out five over the start and mixed in a depthy curveball right around 70 mph. 

James Jorgensen (2026 SS, Dallas, TX) showed some lively stuff in the start and worked in the 89-91 range in the early portion of the start. He showed two breaking balls with distinct shape and also turned over a quality changeup to round out the mix. 

Jose Partida (2027 LHP, San Diego, CA) was really intriguing over two innings. The tall/lean left-hander punched out four and sat in the upper-80s with a solid three pitch mix for strikes. 

Tanner Evans (2026 SS, Omaha, NE) hit one hard back up the middle for a base hit in the early going. Stayed short and simple to it and continues to show solid bat-to-ball skills this event. 

Cale Fossett (2026 RHP, Roeland Park, KS) hit one on the screws back up the middle to drive in a run. There's intriguing two way upside here and he shows big strength to all parts. 

Tyson Bobo (2026 OF, San Diego, CA) came out of the bullpen and sat right around 90 mph for the relief appearance. He has a three pitch mix with the low-80s changeup and an upper-70s curveball too. 

Michael Allen (2026 C, Cypress, TX) dropped one into the right-center gap and rolled around for a hustle double in the later portion of this one. Also showed off the arm, throwing a runner out by a few steps at third base the half inning prior. 


California (Black) vs. USA (Purple) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Peter Jackson (2026 RHP, Studio City, CA) just pounded the zone and worked quickly with a two pitch mix. Fastball got up to 89 mph and sat right around 87 mph for the duration of the outing. Mixed in a mid-70s breaking ball with depth. 

Evan Alexander (2026 RHP, Pacific Palisades, CA) punched out three over his three innings. Used a four pitch mix with good feel for all, fastball slider mostly and ran the fastball into the upper-80s consistently. 

Josiah Kemp (2026 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) collected another barrel in game-two of the day. The projection is off the charts with present bat speed and obvious defensive skills to go with the impactful right-handed bat. 

Carson Sheffer (2026 C, Westlake Village, CA) has stood out both offensively and defensively in game-two of the day. He singled right back up the middle and also showed off the arm throwing a runner out at second base. 

Lukas Oquendo (2026 SS, San Diego, CA) continued to put good swings on tough pitches in game-two of the day for the Black team. He stayed on an outside fastball here and lined one into right field for a base knock. 


National (Orange) vs. California (Black) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Wes Peterson (2026 RHP, Menlo Park, CA) showed a ton of intriguing things in the outing to start the game. The right-hander lived in the 88-90 range for three innings and struck out four while spinning a sharp breaking ball and turning over a quality changeup too. 

Michael Teasley (2026 RHP, Oak Ridge, TN) looked dominant over his three innings of work. He got up to 93 mph and worked in the low-90s comfortably while going to a hammer breaking ball often with big shape and spins north of 2700 RPM. 

Ayson McIntosh (2026 C, Vero Beach, FL) came up with a big swing in the later stages of this one as he hit a single back up the middle to drive in a run to make it a 3-0 game. 

Roman Brown (2026 OF, Redondo Beach, CA) absolutely smashed one to the pull-side for a double in the last half of the game. It comes off super easy and was on full display here as it came off at 96 EV. 

Lukas Oquendo (2026 SS, San Diego, CA) stayed on a pitch in the last half of the game and peppered it through the right side for a base knock. It's a super simple operation with barrel skills and clear bat-to-ball. 

 


National (Orange) vs. USA (Purple) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Brandon Kleyman (2026 RHP, Concord, CA) worked three innings and showed promising upside. The fastball got up to 90 mph and worked in the 86-88 for the duration of the outing with a breaking ball in the upper-70s. 

Dillon Moss (2026 C, Atherton, CA) barreled one through the pull-side for a loud single in the early going. He got the barrel out front and hit it hard, coming off the barrel at 94 EV to drive in a run. 

Josiah Kemp (2026 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) hit one into left field for a base knock to drive in a run. There's so much projection here and he's already starting to tap into the power upside. 

Miller Sheets (2026 SS, Monroe, LA) hit one hard down the left field line for a double in the early going. He controls the levers well with good bat sped and tremendous power upside that's been on display throughout the event. 

Benjamin Reed (2026 RHP, Grapevine, TX) really settled into the outing nicely after some traffic in the early going. The right-hander worked in the mid-80s and was up to 88 mph early in the outing. He finished up the outing with four strikeouts to his name. 

James Tronstein (2026 OF, Los Angeles, CA) hit one down the right field line for a double to create some traffic in the top of the 4th. He's a super athletic player with high upside and a ton of twitch that's been on full display in game and in the workouts. 

 


West (Red) vs. Central (Blue) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Austin Smith (2026 C, Scottsdale, AZ) got the game started quickly with a hard hit triple into the right field corner. Short and simple swing and works to all parts of the field. 

Lane Abel (2026 SS, Gilbert, AZ) put another quality swing on one here in game two of the day. There's quality barrel skills and it's easy to project more strength onto the frame which will only continue to increase the power output. 

Andrew Weber (2027 RHP, San Bernardino, CA) dominated through his two innings of work in this one. Worked in the upper-80s comfortably and punched out three in just his first inning of work. He went to a tight low-70s curveball late in counts as well. 

Brody Crane (2026 RHP, Neosho, MO) showed some easy arm talent in this one and worked right around 90 mph for the duration of the outing and ran it up to 93 mph early. He mixed in a quality upper-70s breaking ball as well. 

Ethan Bass (2026 SS, Northbrook, IL) hit one hard on the ground through the left side of the infield. He controls the levers well with easy bat speed and leverage. The power projection is off the charts too. 

Tj McQuillan (2026 3B, St. John, IN) caught a loud barrel right back up the middle to drive in a pair of runs. There's so much bat speed and strength here that has shown up in a big way all event. 

Ryan Harwood (2026 OF, Chandler, AZ) came out of the bullpen and worked in the upper-80s consistently with a curveball in the mid-60s. He has a pure left-handed swing and also showed some intriguing two way upside. 

 


East (Green) vs. Central (Blue) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Johnson Dubose (2026 SS, Atlanta, GA) put a great swing on one and smoked it into the right-center gap for a triple. The frame oozes projection and is already showing easy impact into both gaps. 

Quinn ORourke (2026 RHP, Matthews, NC) cruised through his pair of innings on the mound, striking out six. The fastball got up to 91 mph with big life out of the hand. Mixed in a breaking ball right around 80 mph with quality depth. 

Joel Arroyo (2026 OF, Homestead, FL) caught a loud barrel in the early going with a hard hit double to the pull-side. He got the barrel extended here with easy strength, something that's been on full display all event. 

Michael Chin (2026 C, Houston, TX) hammered a ball off the middle of the left field wall for a double. He swings it with intent and the ball comes off the barrel really well. 

Joseph Kelly (2026 OF, Evanston, IL) hit one right on the screws back up the middle for a base hit in the late stages. There's really easy strength here that plays to all parts and he put a great swing on this one for a base knock. 

Grayton Gross (2026 LHP, Salina, KS) got the ball out of the bullpen and punched out a pair in his opening inning. He sits comfortably in the 83-85 range with a nasty breaking ball that he shows late in counts. 

James Jorgensen (2026 SS, Dallas, TX) followed up the hit by Kelly with a hard hit single of his own just a few pitches later. It's hard to find a more tooled up player in attendance and he's gotten off to a quick start in game. 

 


East (Green) vs. West (Red) Game Highlights

8/3/2024

Alex Cantwell (2026 C, Chestnut Hill, MA) got just enough of one and dropped it into right field for an two-RBI single in the early going. He showed good adjustaility and had just enough strength to get it to fall. 

Trenton Hertzog (2026 3B, Tigard, OR) pulled one through the right side of the infield for a base knock to drive in a run in the early going. He seems to always find the barrel and put a good swing on this one to cut into the deficit. 

Mateo Villanueva (2026 RHP, San Diego, CA) worked around some traffic in the early going and started to settle as the outing went on. The fastball got up to 90 mph in the early going and lived in the 86-88 range. He mixed two distinct breaking balls, both spun north of 2400 RPM. 

Ben O'Brien (2026 RHP, Tampa, FL) showed some big stuff throughout his two innings of work. The fastball lived in the 87-89/90 range with carry through the zone and also mixed in a downer shaped curveball in the upper-60s. He has a quick shoulder and the stuff comes out easy. 

Austin Smith (2026 C, Scottsdale, AZ) lined one right back up the middle for a base knock and drove in a run in the process. He has a short and simple swing with good barrel control that was on display on this swing. 

Joel Arroyo (2026 OF, Homestead, FL) barreled one right back where it came from for a base hit. He stays connected nicely and the ball comes off the barrel easy. Put a really nice swing on this one for a knock. 

Bryant James (2026 SS, Annandale, VA) hit one on the screws back up the middle for a base hit to drive in a run. There's a simplicity to the whole operation with good bat speed and continues to impress with the bat. 

Lane Abel (2026 SS, Gilbert, AZ) drove one back up the middle for an RBI single in the later stages of game one. He stays short and simple to the baseball with bat-to-ball skills. 

Jayden Davis (2026 RHP, Madison Heights, VA) came out of the bullpen and showed a lot of things to like. The fastball worked in the 87-89/90 range with carry out of the hand and mixed in a tight breaking ball in the upper-70s. 

Ryan Engle (2026 OF, Kernersville, NC) caught a loud barrel in the later stages but nothing to show for it as it was a hard hit F9. The bat speed is real here and the projection is off the charts. 


Batting Practice Highlights

8/2/2024

Brody Crane (2026 RHP, Neosho, MO) showed a ton of intriguing things in the round of batting practice. Barrel got through the zone easy with effortless strength to the pull-side and hit a homer in the round. Simple swing with good blend of bat speed and power.

Tj McQuillan (2026 3B, St. John, IN) lived on the barrel in the round with high end strength on display. It’s a smooth left-handed swing with huge power to the pull-side that he put on display often in the round. There’s real physicality here with strength that plays well in the box.

Miller Sheets (2026 SS, Monroe, LA) showed interesting things in the round of batting practice. He controls the long levers well with easy leverage and bat speed that shined throughout. He swings it with intent and looks to do damage to the pull-side.

Rock Akahi (2026 OF, Irvine, CA) stayed connected well in the round of BP and peppered the ball back up the middle. Got the barrel extended often too with easy strength into the gaps.

Colten Springall (2026 2B, Brentwood, TN) caught some loud barrels in the round this afternoon. The bat speed really shined with carry off the barrel into both gaps. There’s twitch and bat speed here that was on display throughout.

Christian Olivares (2026 C, Corpus Christi, TX) strung together a good round of BP on day one. He lived on the barrel with solid bat speed and hit the ball well right back up the middle with quality hand speed on display.

Parker Loew (2026 3B, Sarasota, FL) showed some high-end bat speed in the round. He routinely caught barrels to the pull-side and the ball comes off the barrel easy. The bat speed really stood out in this round.

Bear Calvo (2027 SS, Fullerton, CA) showed some high-end traits at the plate as one of the younger players in attendance. There’s great rhythm to the swing with ability to lift the ball at impact with advanced strength to all parts.

Ethan Bass (2026 SS, Northbrook, IL) put together a strong round in the afternoon of day one. He has low effort bat speed with serious impact into both gaps and controls the barrel very well. There’s intriguing power upside here too.

Jet Berry (2026 SS, Queen Creek, AZ) sprayed liners to all parts in the round. The barrel control was on full display in this one with ability to manipulate it. There’s high end bat-to-ball skills from both sides of the plate that was on display in this round.

Michael Chin (2026 C, Houston, TX) caught some loud barrels in the round. He swings the bat with intent with ability to lift the ball at impact and showed good pull-side strength. There’s good bat speed here with impact in the right-handed bat.

Nolan Ramoley (2026 OF, Palos Park, IL) showed great athleticism throughout the day and it translates in the bx. He stays connected well with easy pop to all fields and sprayed hard liners to all parts with a level path through the zone.

Joshua Newton (2026 OF, Westfield, IN) strung together an impressive round of batting practice this afternoon. There’s minimal wasted movement in the swing with pull-side power and obvious bat speed that was on display throughout the round.

Joseph Kelly (2026 OF, Evanston, IL) worked to all fields nicely in the round. He got the barrel extended a few times and hit the ball hard to the pull-side and uses the ground well. There’s good bat speed here with strength that plays nicely to the pull-side.

Cale Fossett (2026 RHP, Roeland Park, KS) showed a level path through the zone with good bat speed and heavy hands. He’s athletic with natural feel for the barrel and strength through the middle part of the field.

Patrick Diaz (2026 3B, Bronx, NY) lived on the barrel in the round of batting practice. He has a short stride out into contact with strength that plays nicely to the pull-side.

Ayden Roman (2026 C, Queens, NY) put together a good round of batting practice this afternoon. He sprayed hard liners to all parts of the field with a heaviness to the hands and strength to all parts.

Hamilton Friedberg (2026 OF, Lakewood, CA) hit everything hard in the round of batting practice. He has a short stride out into contact with good extension in the hands and a level plane through the zone.

Hunter Harrington (2026 OF, San Diego, CA) caught a few loud barrels in the round. There’s a bunch of athleticism throughout the profile that translates nicely in the box with strength to all parts. There’s quick hands here and the bat speed shines.

Jose Partida (2027 LHP, San Diego, CA) got the barrel extended often in the round of batting practice and hit the ball hard to the pull-side often. There’s intriguing power upside here and he controls the levers nicely.

Jaxson Wood (2026 SS, Hoover, AL) showed excellent bat to ball skills and the budding power is impressive. He can hit from line to line and lots of liners during the round.

Eric Zdunek (2026 OF, San Gabriel, CA) gets good extension and can leverage out front. The power potential is very impressive.

Adam Swanson (2026 C, Ottawa, IL) has a strong core and looks to pull with series intent. The power was impressive on a very large field.

Dillon Moss (2026 C, Atherton, CA) stuck to a mature approach and lifted balls a long way to the niddle of the field. There is future hit plus power in the profile.

Ezekiel Lara (2026 OF, Cerritos, CA) got the bat head out regularly and lifted balls to the pull side with true spin. His spacing was good and the ball flew off the bat.

Josiah Kemp (2026 OF, Oklahoma City, OK) has fast wrist and a wiry frame that projects well. It’s a good plane that projects well for future power.

James Tronstein (2026 OF, Los Angeles, CA) can handle all sides of the plate and showed the ability to drive the ball out of the yard when the pitch was in. The bat is very fast.

Tristan Ramos (2026 OF, Costa Mesa, CA) has a simple process and is very strong. He showed the ability to adjust and get the heavy barrel out, even making the field looks small.

Evan Alexander (2026 RHP, Pacific Palisades, CA) has a loose swing and lots of room to grow. He created true back spin that carried when on time.

Blake Bowen (2026 OF, Riverside, CA) possesses some of the best power in the class. He hits some majestic homers to the pull side and few rival his potential middle of the order profile.

Trey Ebel (2026 SS, Rancho Cucamonga, CA) took a professional batting practice blistering liners to the middle. The ability to find the barrel on time stood out.

Warren Gravely IV (2026 C, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) has a whippy barrel and loose bottom hand. He dorve balls to the pull side regularly during his round.

Alex Harrington (2026 SS, San Diego, CA) has a solid hit tool and projection in the frame. When the build fills out he will be able to drive ball to any part of the yard.

Gavin Hottle (2026 SS, Irvine, CA) has a strong frame with more to come as he fills out. The hands are very fast and he hammered balls to the pull side on almost every swing.

Joel Arroyo (2026 OF, Homestead, FL) turns well and can get the barrel out very well. The ball jumps and he already shows the ability to lift to the pull side.

Johnny Badala (2026 OF, Nokomis, FL) has a very simple approach with easy pull side power. He was on time on every swing and even flashed a long homerun on a very big field.

Johnson Dubose (2026 SS, Atlanta, GA) took a great BP where is has hands and long levers blistered balls all over the field. The projection is real.

Ryan Engle (2026 OF, Kernersville, NC) tuns the barrel well and was very balance and coordinated, allowing him to show big potential from a power stand point.

Gary Gibson II (2026 RHP, Lexington, KY) took one of the better batting practices of the day. He launched a couple long homers and even hit a line drive off the 410 sign to dead centerfield.

Brady Marshall (2026 3B, Mocksville, NC) is a physical right-handed hitter that shows very good bat to ball skills with the ability to elevate to the pull side with consistency.

Ryan Harwood (2026 OF, Chandler, AZ) the left-handed bat has the potential to be the highest level follow. Its very easy bat speed with a knack for getting to a strong point of contact.

John "Jack" Petroff (2026 3B, Pheonix, AZ) had excellent barrel speed with a swing that stayed in the zoen for a long time and he hammered long drives to the middle of the field. This was very impressive from start to finish.

Joshua Priest (2027 OF, San Diego, CA) has a ton of twitch and continues to impressive with his development. He knows haw to get extension and drive balls deep to all fields.

Keaton Neal (2026 SS, Olathe, KS) has a ton of projection and has a super loose swing that creates a ton of bat speed. His length will help create leverage that will lead to immense power.

James Jorgensen (2026 SS, Dallas, TX) torques the barrel very well and stays in the ground through contact creating easy juice to the pull gap. The barrel is heavy and accurate.

Adrian Ruiz (2026 OF, Corona, CA) has a good linear swing and has good timing. He has the ability to hit liners to both gaps and the process will easily transfer to games.

 

Sal Gagliano (2026 SS, San Diego, CA) gets in the zone deep with good stretch and can lift the ball to all fields. He is best when using the gaps but showed big power to the pull side during drills.

 

Tanner Evans (2026 SS, Omaha, NE) stays level and can spray liners to all fields. The ability to find the barrel and hits liners to all fields will allow him to collect hits a high level.

 

Alex Cantwell (2026 C, Chestnut Hill, MA) has a long and lean frame that projects very well. His quick wrists and good bat speed were on display during his round.

 

Valentino Pupo (2026 SS, Clewiston, FL) showed very good bat to ball skills as he seemed to be on the barrel on every pass.

 

Bradley McCafferty (2026 C, Beverly, MA) turns the handle hard and hammered balls with authority to both gaps. The ability to drive balls on both sides of the plate stood out in a big way.

 

Joey Ireland (2026 SS, Homewood, IL) has a middle of the order type of profile given his length he has in the frame that produces natural loft to the middle of the field.

 

Trenton Hertzog (2026 3B, Tigard, OR) is a powerful left-handed bat and stayed consistent with his hands on top, driving a lot of liners to right field during his round of batting practice.
