2027 Top Prospects

Declan Gonge  C - 2027 - Lincoln, CA

Gonge showed off some advanced strength and physicality for a 2027 that showed both at the plate and behind the plate. Put together a strong round of BP where he displayed strong and quick hands producing quality barrels to the pullside that translated in-game and to his EV testing where he posted the highest (T81). Behind the plate he put up the best POP time with 2.07 due to a quick exchange, quality footwork and an above avg, arm at 73 mph. He also put together a good OF round defensively.

2028 Top Prospects

Maxim Rocheleau  SS - 2028 - Livermore, CA

Maxim was probably the best overall athlete of the group. Started when he ran the best 60-yd dash at 7.40. Then it was a clean INF workout where he showed light feet, clean glove actions and advanced arm strength across (T81). His BP round was solid, flashing some hand/barrel quickness that showed in-game as well where he drove a double deep into left field, but it was his game outing on the mound that really stood out. Showed a smooth/easy delivery with a loose arm that ran his fastball up to 79 mixing in two quality secondaries in a slurvy breaker that induced whiff/buckle and a depthy CH.

Reid Holt  RHP - 2028 - Oakland, MI

Holt put together a solid round of BP where he stayed short and direct to the baseball with simple lower/upper half moves that allowed him to stay balanced and find the barrel consistently. However, it was his standout performance on the mound that really opened eyes. He struck out 8 in his 3 innings of work showing an athletic delivery that helped run his fastball up to 78 and mixed in a high upside big breaker in the lower-mid 70s that he manipulated shape on and got a ton of whiffs with.

Torre Ridgway  RHP - 2028 - Lincoln, CA

Ridgway was solid in all facets this past weekend. Ran the 3rd best 60-yd dash at 7.60. Then it was some clean defensive actions at both SS and 1B where he showed quality glovework and flashed some arm strength across with accuracy. At the plate, he put together an inconsistent round but exhibited good strength/quickness to his hands with present balance to the swing. He also jumped on the mound and filled up the strike zone with a mid 70s fastball and landed a mid-60s developing breaker.

Ben Herman  C - 2028 - Rio Rancho, NM

Herman looked the part throughout the weekend. He has a lean/athletic build where that athleticism showed behind the plate with his footwork especially during throwdowns where he posted a solid pop-time at 2.17. Ran a 7.70 60-yd dash. At the plate, he is switch hitter that looked more comfortable from the left showing quality bat speed within an aggressive stroke that produced several line drives throughout his round and the 2nd highest EV.

2029 Top Prospects

Carson Moore  RHP - 2029 - Vacaville, CA

Carson displayed fundamental actions in both the OF and INF where he showed some quality athleticism (7.64 60-yd). At the plate, he put together one of the better BP rounds of the group finding barrels working more inside-out producing LDs to the RC gap. Also found a hard pullside barrel in-game as well. He also jumped on the mound and threw three solid innings where he struck out three.
