2027 Top Prospects

Mayan De Nava  SS - 2027 - Riverside, CA

De Nava shwoed well in all facets of the game. In the outfield, he flashed good glove actions with arm speed and zip to both bases. Offensively, there's a certain amount of controlled violence to the swing with good rhythm and connection through impact. Fired hard contact through the gaps throughout the round. On the mound, he an uptempo worker with feel for the two pitch mix. Repeats the delivery well and can drive the fastball through the glove to both sides of the dish.

2028 Top Prospects

Riley Salvemini  SS - 2028 - Woodland, CA

The stand out in-game performer of the 14U Northern California All-State event was this lean 6'2 thumper. The swing has great rhythm with early feel to match the strength with the ability to leverage the barrel in the air to the pull side. Also showed pretty significant upside on the mound as well. A big name to know in the area for the class of 2028.

Miles Cornell  SS - 2028 - Brentwood, CA

Really liked this showing from the right-handed hitting middle infielder. The swing has good rhythm to flow into the launch, getting it on the barrel frequntly through the big part of the field. Big athletic projection to the frame as well.

Walter Unruh  OF - 2028 - Kingsburg, CA

Liked the flashes the real right-handed power we saw from this phyical 6'2 outfileder. Wide base at the dish helps him dig into the lower half to generate stand out power. Drove it in the air to all fields with intent.

Mikey Lopez  1B - 2028 - Livermore, CA

Impressed with the coordination and overall abiltiy of such a young kid at such at advanced height. Got it on the barrel a bunch throughout batting practice and translated it into in-game success. Already shwoiung feel to take advantage of the limitless leverage possibilities that the frame provides. Significant power upside as he continues to add weight.

Cooper Neff  LHP - 2028 - Martinez, CA

The lean athletic lefty has an intriguing upside because of both the present stuff and projection of the wholesale product. Flashed a 1-7 breaking ball and low 80's fastball. Comfortable mover and a name to track.

Leo Oliver  C - 2028 - Auberry, CA

The 5'9 right handed hitting catcher showed really nice feel for the barrel throughout a strong batting practice session at the 14U All-State. The swing is direct with subtle loft to the path. Can puncture it in the air through the gaps.

Colton Nakano  RHP - 2028 - Martinez, CA

Even standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, the right handed showed quality feel to spin and locate all three of his offerings. The short staure and high spin rates will continue to play as he continues to polish the arsenal. Can land the breakers with good feel to sequence and keep hitters off balance.

Kyson Enos  3B - 2028 - Brentwood, CA

With a smaller lean frame the left handed hitting middle infield displayed an innate feel to barrel at the dish. Maximizing the frame to generate bat speed and better strength than the frame may show. Glove actions will polish as his game develops but showed defensive actions that are on track to be above average.

Trace Hoover  3B - 2028 - Discovery Bay, CA

On the mound, its a stretch only operation with medium arm stroke to a tension free well extended three-quarter release. Fastball plays heavy to the lower portion. Can land the short two plane slider for strikes. Quick and efficient inning of work with weak contact. Liked the look at the plate as well with good rhythm to the operation that creates above average power through the gaps.

Gino Mallamo  SS - 2028 - Tracy, CA

Easy to like the intent that Mallamo shows at the dish. Engages a strong lower half to generate torque that plays through the barrel. Showed feel to hit in all directions. Quick hands and good rhythm to the operation lead one to think he is really comfortable in his ability in the box. Should continue to grow into more power as he matures.

Dalton Vandeburgh  SS - 2028 - Cottonwood, CA

The batting practice session for Vandeburgh flashed promising glimpes as to what he could become at the dish. Its a simple swing and direct to impact with stand out barrel skills. Displayed an impressive amount of impact for the simplicity. Easy to like, a name to track.

Maxim Rocheleau  SS - 2028 - Livermore, CA

High quality showing the "do it all" primary middle infielder. The defensive actions were solid for the age with fluid lateral actions, good glove work and accurate throws across the diamond. On the mound, he shows an atheltic hybrid style delivery with up tempo actions down the slope. Poured in the fastball to both sides to produce weak contact. Offensively, he really impressed with his ability to barrel it up. Obvious intent with very good bat speed. Fired lots of hard contact through the middle.
