2025 Top Prospects

Will Carter  RHP - 2025 - Chicago, IL

Carter turned in an impressive outing on the mound, striking out six batters through three hitless innings of work. The long and wiry 6-foot-6 right-hander overpowered hitters with his fastball, which peaked at 90 mph with ride and arm-side run. He missed several bats with his mid-70s curveball as well, which came in around 2500 rpm. He offers a ton of intrigue from a velocity and physicality standpoint.

Brayden Saling  SS - 2025 - Sherman, IL

Saling tossed two hitless innings, running his riding fastball up to 83 mph. The 5-foot-11 right-hander also showed feel for his 11-5 breaking ball and fading changeup. The biting breaker induced several swings and misses both early and late in counts. He pounded the strike zone and made quick work of his two innings on the mound. He offers intriguing upside as an arm.

Cal Jenkins  LHP - 2025 - Winfield, MO

Jenkins was efficient in his three innings of work, punching out four while failing to allow a hit. The 6-foot southpaw showed feel for his entire mix and sequenced his pitches effectively. His fastball showed life with arm-side sink, ultimately peaking at 78 mph. His curveball and changeup were both successful at mistiming barrels, which completed his three-pitch offering.


2026 Top Prospects

Haverly Cox  3B - 2026 - O’Fallon, MO
Uncommitted

Cox was dominant during his three innings of work, striking out a pair of batters while failing to allow a hit. The lean 6-foot right-hander showed feel for his entire four-pitch arsenal, locating and sequencing effectively. He missed plenty of barrels with his fastball, which showed cut and topped out at 87 mph. Both breaking balls were spun well and landed for strikes later on in counts.

Cooper Hoog  1B - 2026 - Arnold, MO

Hoog had one of the loudest rounds of batting practice and added a few loud knocks in live action as well. The strong 6-foot-1 210-pound lefty remains short to the baseball, generating easy leverage and carry at impact. He has plenty of evident strength in the hands along with the ability to drive baseballs to the gaps with ease. He posted an exit velocity of 89 mph.


2027 Top Prospects

Brody Phillips  SS - 2027 - Arcola, IL

Phillips impressed out of the gate by running the fastest sixty-yard dash of the event of 6.64 seconds. He also turned in an efficient outing on the mound while running his fastball up to 79 mph. The heater had some riding life to it and was paired effectively with a mid-60s breaker and fading changeup. Phillips also added a few knocks during live action, showing off his consistent barrel skills.

Baron Martin  OF - 2027 - Wentzville, MO

Martin impressed on the defensive side of the ball, running it up to 85 mph from the outfield during the workout portion of the event. He moves through the baseball with bounce and urgency before delivering low and online throws to the base. At the plate, the 5-foot-11 right-handed hitter flashed some strength in the barrel both during batting practice and live action. He posted an exit velocity of 83 mph.

Christophe De Wijkerslooth  3B - 2027 - Chicago, IL

De Wijkerslooth put together a consistent round of batting practice and impressive series of defensive work in the infield. The 6-foot-2 third baseman stays light and quick on his feet, taking proper routes to the baseball. He delivered accurate throws up to 78 mph across the diamond. The right-hander also turned in an efficient outing on the mound while running his fastball up to 79 mph.

Andrew Oldham  C - 2027 - Chesterfield, MO

Oldham put together an impressive round of batting practice and later carried it over into live action. He was on the barrel all weekend long, spraying line drives to all parts of the field. The strong 6-foot-4 205-pound righty impacts the baseball with easy strength while generating leverage to both gaps. He posted an exit velocity of 89 mph.

Nate Rosalez  SS - 2027 - Huntley, IL

Rosalez was quick and efficient in the infield, putting together a clean series of defensive drills. The 6-foot shortstop has plenty of lateral range and athleticism with present softness in the hands. He added a leaping catch at shortstop during live action, showing off his abilities in the dirt. He also ran a 6.88 sixty-yard dash.
